so after making the sticky jumper unusable on jump maps awhile ago by not allowing 3 stickies to be placed and fired at the same time, they now make the rocket jumper unusable on jump maps by disabling damage indicators and pain sounds..
also the scoreboard mouse input never actually worked correctly for me and it still doesnt

The box change seems pretty questionable, Scouts could already get up there but it was atleast somewhat risky (You had to jump from Patio to the high parts on mid and then to the crates). I don't really see how giving Scouts basically free access to highground could ever be considered a good change.

EDIT:

DatDrummerGuymousiopethey now make the rocket jumper unusable on jump maps by disabling damage indicators and pain sounds..

Removing pain markers makes seeing if you properly synced multiple rockets significantly harder.

DishSoapWhen was the last time scout got a nerf? I'm pretty curious now because Valve has just been directly and indirectly buffing him lately.

50$ to the first person that actually goes through patch notes and looks this up because I can't remember one, bonus points if you can compare other class balances/nerfs to any hes gotten as well

The only "nerf" I can think of is the "fixing" of bacon legging, other than that he hasn't been touched

(you must have a paypal account)

Does the BFB stopping being broken as hell count as a nerf?

if you know how to interpret them, they give you really useful information on where to aim or what u might be doing wrong with syncs and stuff like that
its the small things

TF2 TeamWe also wanted to touch on upcoming improvements to the Casual Mode experience. A high priority is providing better flow for continuing play at the end of a match. To that end, we're currently putting the finishing touches on two features that many of you have requested: The option to rematch with the same players on the same map at the end of a match, and the ability to re-queue into a new match from the win screens for both Casual Mode and Competitive Mode.

I play casual a lot, so this is really good. It also solves every single problem that Casual has. Basically an upgraded quickplay.

Literally the only thing I could find was from April 20, 2009:

  • Scouts now drop the Intelligence if they're carrying it when they start phasing

that's not even a nerf, that's like a fix

k here u go

http://pastebin.com/kxUybzF5

fun facts:

the scout as a class hasn't been changed since Scream Fortress 2014 outside of adding hats. either that or the TF wiki stopped after that update but other classes have more recent stuff (and i went back through the updates manually till that date looking for scout stuff)
they've never nerfed a scout attribute

i accept payment in any currency that is not the GBP

in comparison to other classes scout has way more weapons that valve have no idea what the hell to do with (crit-a-cola, sandman, wrap assassin, soda popper, bfb, pocket pistol)

here's the list of scout class changes by themselves

Show Content
March 6, 2009 Patch
You can now duck twice in the air. Scout double jumps reset the in-air jump counts.

big list, so spoiler'd

If valve doesn't stop buffing scout eventually it wont just be us calling for nerfs. We need to establish some kind of communication with them before they do something that goes in the complete wrong direction. Specifically us of the competitive community should try to get in contact with them. We can't save this game by ourselves, but we can at least offer some suggestions to valve.

after 5+ years of Valve doing valve-like things the "report a hacker and they will get banned" feature is incredible and very welcome.

TF2 Team- Fixed an issue with The Righteous Bison and Pomson 5000 hit detection where projectiles were being removed when colliding with invisible entities

It's the Pomson 6000, not the 5000.

JunkTF2 TeamThe next few updates will be integrating TF more tightly with the global server network already used by games like CS:GO and Dota 2 to provide much more reliable connections and the best-possible latency. No mention of placement matches though...
Fuck my reading comprehension up fam.

That meant placement matches?

I don't hate either of the changes that helped scout recently. Pretty much all of his buffs in recent memory (not counting unlocks) were collateral of other (bad) changes like the escape plan or sticky nerf. They didn't really address his core issues and if those core issues are ever resolved then I don't think those changes will matter at all. They're basically QOL improvements for low skill players and I don't think that's terrible.

Also I feel like the increased weapon switch speed counts as a nerf to scout.

had 7 comp mm matches in a row where someone either in our team or the enemy team left
most of the time its a few seconds before we win the round
maybe try to keep the match going ? like in csgo...
playing the match itself just for a leaver to invalidate everything in the last minute sucks

the match must go on, its a simple as that
you can make stronger bans but the ban is what happens AFTER the match is ruined
stop the match from being ruined

BenroadsDatDrummerGuymousiopethey now make the rocket jumper unusable on jump maps by disabling damage indicators and pain sounds..
How? Like, I really don't understand.

Removing pain markers makes seeing if you properly synced multiple rockets significantly harder.
