Blanc LFP IM S22

With a few people stepping down, the remainder of BLANC Esports is looking for a Scout, Demo, and some subs to round out the roster for S22 in IM. Our agreed goal is to put in the effort individually, and together to make a playoff run in IM.

-

EDIT: We are now in need of either a Pocket, or a Scout. Meus will play either class depending on what works best. We're still agreed on playing, and practicing hard to contend for playoffs.

EDIT 2: We have decided to look strictly for a Pocket. Meus is growing on Scout a lot, and we think it's best for him to continue on Scout. If unable to find a suitable replacement, Displace will play the season out.

EDIT 3: We good now.

You can add me here to tryout: http://steamcommunity.com/id/radeon_/

I love Crasian and he is such a good main caller. I can't say how the overall team atmosphere might be but I've played with radeon plenty of times and he's also chill af so join this team if you wanna have fun and pound next season :D

What can I say about BLANC?

For starters, they all have an incredible competitive drive and will challenge each other to be 100% every scrim, every night. They are always focused on the task at hand. This was not something anyone needed explaining: they want to win, and figure out the best way to win / why they aren't winning. On that note, it's extremely important you understand that there is no bullshit / toxicity here. We made the team back in S20 and the Mumble environment has always been one that facilitates learning and keeping a level head on everyone's shoulder. Good times are good, and bad times are also good. Short term memory (in "bad situations") is something I'm most proud of in each and every one of my teammates.

Crasian is a ridiculous Soldier, as many already know. Whether it's Shotgun or Gunboats, he knows how to do his job and do it well. From a maincalling aspect, he has made tons of progress from the early days of S20 and he'd be even further in his development if he hadn't missed the first couple weeks of S21. The only things "holding him back" (maybe "weaknesses" is a better term) are being able to control his anger / stress - he can get a little loud in heated moments, and his own self - you'll understand when you hear about what he did at the gym today. Once these hurdles are cleared it's really damn smooth sailing for him.

SpaceCadet is extremely loyal and always puts the team first. You'd be hard-pressed to find someone as dedicated and caring about the TEAM in this community. But of course, he works on his own game, too. He frags well, comms well, and cares well. He's a great listener and is always watching his own demos and of the team to figure out where we can improve on. Space is very well-rounded as a player and teammate, there's not much else to say. The next step up in his game will be getting unpredictable (less Medic focus), and perfecting his jumps.

Muse caught my eye back in S18 and picking him up was one of the best decisions I've ever made for any teammate ever. Muse has put up some downright insane performances over the seasons, and he sort of has his own clckwrk rage mechanic where the angrier he gets the harder he frags. It's a controlled anger, and I've watched him become more selfless every week. Like Space, he possesses a team-first mentality, and constantly urges the team to get out of our comfort zone. The one area he needs work on is his confidence. Confidence in his team's playcalling, and confidence in himself to be able to follow up on those calls. Watch out for him, he's going places (but aren't they all).

Radeon as my "replacement" is a strong upgrade to the mediocre and inconsistent play I offered the last 2 seasons. He's got prior chemistry with Crasian, plus is also just as hungry as the rest of them and that's awesome. I was lax in doing review nights due to the real life (schedule) shenanigans the team had to struggle with last season but rest assured radeon will enforce them, and often. The rest of the these guys acknowledge reviews need to be more frequent, another testament to their drive.

Tryout for these wonderful gamers, they have a solid base to work from and are only going to get better with more time and commitment. Good luck, boys. You know I'll be cheering for you all all the way from Hong Kong every step of the way.

Update bump. We've picked up Megaboy as our 5th, and are primarily looking for a Demo as our 6th. We're also in search for a few subs as well, namely a Pocket sub who's readily available when Crasian has work-related shenanigans to settle.

Update #2: Crasian is stepping down to resolve real life issues, and we are looking for a Pocket now as well. More info will come later about what direction the team is heading in; while unfortunate, we will use this event as a positive step forward for the team, and continue as headstrong as before.

Update #3: Megaboy and Meus have decided to stay on Scout unless necessary, meaning we will not be looking for Scouts. We currently are focused on a few players for Pocket and Demo, and may not be able to try everybody out who has added me thus far.

Update bump, again. We've picked up Displace as our Pocket; we instantly felt he filled in Crasian's shoes very well, and added a great element to the team atmosphere.

Megaboy has departed in light of trying out for other teams, with no hard feelings between either party, and we are now looking for a Scout and Demo to round out the starting roster.

Update #2: we have rounded out our roster, and no longer LFP. Thanks to everyone who tried out.

Displace would prefer to have more free time to enjoy real life where possible, and we are looking for a suitable Pocket replacement that'll free him up from video games.

Update #1: No longer looking for Scouts, strictly a Pocket.

Update #2: We good now.
