whymeoSo now that Bernie has won Michigan he’s won 5 states that usually vote for Democrats in the general election (over the past few decades). Hillary has won only ONE state that votes for Democrats (Mass.) and by a measly 1% of the vote. I swear to god if I hear another person who unquestionably believes what the media tells them and says “Hillary is inevitable, Bernie has no chance” I’m going to fucking flip. Bernie CLEARLY has much more support from Democrats overall than Hillary does. He’s going to fucking murder Hillary in California, New York and Pennsylvania - all blue states with a ton of delegates up for grab. If you seriously can’t see that the media is being intentionally misleading about Bernie’s chances at this point I don’t know what to tell you. Bernie isn’t good for the people that own the large news organizations and it’s sickeningly obvious that they’re intentionally downplaying his chances. With win after win in blue states Bernie has a really good chance of beating Hillary because of how he’s going to do in the large northern states and California. All Hillary has done is win some southern states that generally lean Republican and as more and more primaries are held in the larger blue states Bernie is going to catch up to her.

you're about 60% correct

the fact that the states bernie is winning are swing states or likely dem states is a good sign for general elections, and the fact that he has a chance in big states with lots of delegates like cali/ny is also powerful. however, because of proportional representation, you can't just look at who's winning which states. several of the states bernie has either won or has lost narrowly were predicted against him, so he's gained more delegates there than expected. however, a lot of the southern states have been even more 1-sided than people initially thought, meaning bernie came out of them with fewer delegates. it's still unclear whether he can win the remaining states by ENOUGH to catch up.

I never said that Bernie is definitely going to beat Hillary - it's a very close race at this point. What I'm saying is that the notion that Hillary is almost certain to win and Bernie's chances are slim at best, which you see being spewed from almost every large news outlet, is fucking bullshit.

I dunno if you are talking about me but I wasn't saying Bernie won't win, there's no way you can know for sure at this point. I have been hearing everywhere I go that Hilary is the front runner but I was just saying that IF Bernie doesn't win then you should vote for Trump. Also people like Sideshow say that there is more too it than that but from the way I see it Trump is the only candidate who has a good chance of winning that isn't Hilary or Cruz. I might be wrong but just so you know I wasn't saying Bernie 100% won't win.

I'm probably going going to go the direction of Bernie just because I like his ideas a fair bit more than anybody elses, and he frankly just seems a bit more trustworthy and less...toxic I guess you could say.

I mean, I know that you can't really trust the news and what they say when it comes down to election times, but my understand is that Trump is winning on the Republican side and that Hillary has a slight lead on the Democrat side, so one of my reasons to vote Bernie besides the fact that I agree more with him is the fact that I plain and simple don't like Trump at all, and I really don't like Hillary.

Not sure of how the primaries work in the US, but isn't it on total votes, the actual number of states they win in doesn't matter?
Because whenever I've seen a Hillary win she has like 80% and whenever I've seen a Bernie win it's very very close. That would seem to me that it's not as close as people are saying but I might be talking complete shit here idk.

Hillary has a strong voter base in the south, but most of the south has already voted by now. It's likely that Sanders will win the majority of the remaining states, especially after his performance in Michigan. The big question is if he can turn his delegate deficit around and win the nomination. He needs some big wins in key states, and not too many losses or close wins in other states.

Bernie Sanders needs to stop giving so much attention to black people. I don't know if he is doing it for votes or if he really just thinks black people have to so much worse than everyone else. He is so focused on African Americans he is forgetting that white people have it rough too. I think he is being borderline racist towards white people as he seems to acknowledge every one of us as privileged rich people despite the fact that there are many very poor white people and whites have it rough as well. If you switched the roles and Bernie put this little attention on the issues of black people while focusing on the whites everyone would be crying out with anger.

Here he is being racist as he claims "when you're white you don't know what it's like to be living in a ghetto" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6IlGoeDIUQ

Here he is in shock as a black lady asks him to talk about "white people?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBUFO2vY3GI

Nothing will change of course because everyone will have the reaction of "RACIST RACIST" if someone was to even bring this up. Donald Trump cares about both blacks AND whites and this is another reason you should vote for him, he will treat both sides with FAIRNESS and EQUALITY.

Also by "white" I also mean Asian or Hispanic ect.

"white privilege isn't real"

the first link is true as fuck though. Black people don't know what its like to live in a trailer park in rural alabama, I don't know what its like to live in compton, and you don't know what its like to think critically. Learning to understand other situations is important in actually coming up with real and practical solutions to the problems at every level of society.

the second link is p clearly a joke

if u want to enforce the status quo you're kinda encouraging the continuation of the racism that managed to link race and poverty so strongly, working to fight poverty is almost always working to reduce racism. Sanders talked about this in a speech I went to, and discussed how MLK switched his focus from civil rights to poverty in the last years of his life

Fuck off with that tumblr white privilege shit, it's a stupid concept and it's just adding to this thought process that we should just blame white people for the blacks problems. Also you are missing my point i'm not saying we shouldn't "learn other situations and come up with solutions", i'm saying Bernie needs to pay attention to the issues of other races as well. People like you want to fight so hard against racism so you can think you are a good person but the thing is every time you blame a white person for shooting a black criminal that is trying to kill him, or accuse someone of having "white privilege" because they aren't in jail, or blame white people for the ridiculous amount of blacks in jail, you are creating prejudice against white people, especially for the blacks.

In every Bernie speech is "we need to focus on poor black people" "there are too many black people in prison and us whites should feel bad about it and do something" "guys I can't believe we did slavery" "black lives matter" ect, While ignoring the issues of other races, especially whites.

I didn't want to bring this video out but it perfectly shows how inadequate and how desperate Bernie is for the black votes (they still voted Hilary). The fact the the two black women here are allowed to act like this at this event shows how much Bernie and his supporters bow down to black people, a white person would never be allowed to do this. There is more to equality than just black people, equality is about all races.

the first link is true as fuck though.

Sanders talked about this in a speech I went to, and discussed how MLK switched his focus from civil rights to poverty in the last years of his life
In every Bernie speech is "we need to focus on poor black people" "there are too many black people in prison and us whites should feel bad about it and do something" "guys I can't believe we did slavery" "black lives matter" ect, While ignoring the issues of other races, especially whites.

If you know anything about Bernie WHATSOEVER you'll know he personally protested for desegregation and against the racism people of color (primarily black people) were facing in the 60s. He even got fucking arrested for protesting with them.

He's not fucking desperate for black votes, he doesn't have to be. He's more than proven that he stands with them and can understand their struggle because he lived it. There's a picture of him being arrested fighting for their rights. He's a product of his age, in his mind it isn't over and he still has to fight, not everything is fucking "those SJW anti-white feminazis"
