Earliest online experiences were starting runescape back when swearing in chat would say "cabbage". Was so noob back then a guy tried to bait me into wilderness, I didn't know what wilderness was so I was like "well, it's pretty wild there in the forest near Draynor."
Bf1942 was awesome, couple of fun moments like ramming enemy destroyers with a carrier in Midway and getting kicked. Bf1942 was the thing that really got me into online gaming, had great fun with mods like forgotten hope, desert combat, galactic conquest (star wars mod) and even pirates mod.

First map was cp_steel and I was so confused I nearly gave up then and there because I was worried all maps were like that.
