i cant afford any actual cooling, so the best i can do is try to buy a cheap used vacuum from goodwill. so, i was wondering if it would be a bad idea to solder a vacuum to the back of my computer and keep it perpetually running so i can keep the inside of my pc clean/prevent it from overheating. it gets 90+ degrees where i live on an average, non-winter day and the weather is extremely sporratic, so im trying to find an easy and cheap way to cool my pc. apologies if this idea is beyond stupid

THOUGHTS?

DO NOT under any circumstance buy a vacuum. The static from the vacuum will damage parts from the computer. If you were to put maybe a tube or something in the back....that might work with the motor attached to it at the other end away from the computer, but I wouldn't risk my luck.

Doing something like that sounds like a really, really bad idea

Idk what your budget is, but if you need a cheap and good cooler, this one is alright http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-212-RR-212E-20PK-R2/dp/B005O65JXI

you could buy like a used ice cube machine and bolt it to the back of your computer and it would both regulate temperature and provide cold beverages

yes

If that's the case, While I don't know how much of a difference this make make, but if you have a fan laying around somewhere, open up the side of your computer and set the fan next to it.

assuming this isn't a joke

what am i even reading, this has to be a troll

vacuum motors are not meant to run non stop, you will burn it out very fast, cause lots of unneeded noise, heat, static, and run your electric bill up.

buy one of these: https://www.google.com/search?q=box+fan&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

they cost about ~$20 usd new, and even cheaper if used. take the side off your case and point this directly into it.

A vacuum inside a computer would be the ultimate ghetto pc lol, would be cool if it worked.

or you could build a new computer using a vacuum as a case

would be much more hybridized and efficient that way
