most IDs with common words are generally pretty old because they were made by edgy teenagers who tried steam once and left.

case in point: https://steamcommunity.com/id/hitler

This was my first account that I played TF2 on a free weekend. A year later when my parents finally let me play an M rated game and I had worked over the summer for my uncle to buy a graphics card so I could run the game. I had forgotten the password and I didn't have the email anymore. The reason I didn't have that email anymore is it was "whoactuallycares@gmail.com" and my parents thought that it was too nihilistic for a 15 year old so they made me tell them the password for that and my dad deleted it. It was brought to their attention when I was signing up for an email newsletter for a bible study at my church and the "teacher" or whatever thought I was trolling her so she told my parents.

I thought you guys would appreciate storytime with ALT.

It seems one person has me beat, though I don't think that account was ever owned by someone in this thread.

In 2009-2010 I played on a community server called the FUN-gineers almost exclusively--I remember being taught how to get on top of B's roof on Gravel Pit. It was very fun until it got pretty inactive around 2011, but the Steam group is still up.

Around 50% of the members haven't logged in in a couple years, and some for 5-6 years.

This is from the era where your in-game TF2 game could be different from your Steam display name (via the "name" command in console), so I don't even recognize half the players I used to play with regularly.
