Participated in a web design contest (30 teams of 4 people), was my first big project after 5 months of studying it. Won and it's now becoming the actual website of a school :D

I have had 4 pay-rises and 3 promotions (from Apprenticeship and £2.60 per hour) to my current position heading the most important side of the business in over 2 years. I been helped along by some poor managerial structuring decisions.

Freshman year, my GPA was at a 3.9 ( mainly B+s in everything except math). Just finished junior year with a 4.53 (Straight As and A+s) getting a 97% on my Precalc final!

Senior year is gonna be a nightmare since I'm taking 6 AP courses.

IT'LL BE WORTH IT I SWEAR.

I don't run as much as I used to but when I did, I was able to run 20 miles a day, 3 days a week. One morning I woke up at 3, couldn't get back to sleep, and decided to go out running. I wanted to do a half marathon, but that day I ended up running 22 miles and realized I could probably just start training for a marathon. I never did an official marathon so my numbers are going to be iffy, but my best time was just north of 3 hours, meaning I could theoretically qualify for the Boston Marathon. My average times were a decent amount higher though. I also was the Game Show Network's Northern California Vocabulary Champion back in high school, which got me a nice scholarship and attracts women like flies to honey.

haven't smoked weed in like 4 weeks, it was getting in the way of my school and social life! it was very easy to take a break, no withdrawal symptoms whatsoever.

hey man, I just graduated HS (class of '15). I graduated having taken 7 AP courses senior year and 9 AP exams total. it's EXTREMELY worth it. I'm coming into college starting with Calc 2 and Comp Sci 2, and completely skipping all natural science/ social sciences/ English req's (physics, economics, psych, lang). I'm also partially skipping the history req's (government). after I clear my remaining history requirement, I'm essentially free to take whatever classes interest me. I want to major in Computer Science, and I'm considering a minor in Math. I'm also in my school's honor college, and have to take some required course to graduate with an honor's degree.

the amount of AP credit I'm coming in with will make all of this so so so much easier. I'm able to focus pretty solely on Math & CS courses and ignore all the stupid requirements I didn't want to take anyways (more gov, more english). I'm able to freely pick my humanities and general honor's requirements, and that's dope. currently I'm enrolled in honor's philosophy.

on a 5.0 scale, my freshman GPA was 3.2 (lol)
same 5.0 scale, my senior GPA was 4.9 (LOL)

I moved into harder classes and did better because I cared a lot more and there was a lot more on the line.

you can do it man, and it's so ridiculously worth it.

some words of advice:
prepare to have a possible nightmare enrolling in some college courses. I'm technically enrolled in Calc 1 rn because my Calc AB scores haven't come in yet. as soon as it shows I passed the test I gotta call and have them put me in Calc 2.
go to barnes and noble to study for your AP tests if you haven't been doing this already. you can sit at barnes' starbucks and use the AP books they have on the shelves without buying them.
look ahead at the college of your choice's AP credits. sometimes you can skip some AP exams as you already got credit for it in a previous exam. for example, I didn't have to take the Lit exam because it cleared the exact same classes that the Lang exam got me credit for. don't take exams blindly!!

good luck mate, and again, it's worth it.

My band recorded and finished our lead single on our debut Album, we have full radio play in our hometown and a marketing campaign. Started work on my 2 solo albums recently, and am working on my entry to the American Composers Contest and it could be played by the Minnesota Symphony in 2 years.

Starting my music career this early (I'm 18) and this busily is a really good sign as to my future. If it doesn't work out, I'm still getting an engineering degree. Glad with where my life is heading.

Earlier this year I saw a therapist, and got/recently changed meds which have helped w/ my anxiety, depression, and OCD. I'm not entirely sure who I was before, but from what I do know I don't like that individual too much.

Got a Nikon D3100, some equipment, and a few lenses to start learning about, and practicing different types of photography. Graduated from high school. Guitar lessons are starting to come together, to say. Starting to learn Korean. Finally learning to drive since I'll need a job soon.

So far, 2015's a year I can be proud of.

Thanks a lot brother for the great advice! Over the summer I'll be getting a head start on my courses (especially calc and physics ). I let my grades slip freshman year, but I know that won't happen again!

Going to be graduating my university Cum Laude even though they wiped my GPA when I transferred.

Got my driver's license first try when I was 18.

Shazbowl back in 2012 was the first and most likely the last time that I was not only in a big competition but was recognized for doing something exceptionally cool video-game wise (even then everyone was hype for Seph's orbital and Harbl).

If my squad's last three matches go well, it'll be the first time that a team I've been on has gone double-digit positive (Pixel Smashers s8 went 9-7).

I don't feel like this is much compared to what I've read so far, but a few weeks ago I graduate college with a BFA in Animation-Illustration with a concentration in storyboarding. I also fought off wanting to die most of the past two years and I'm getting a little better each day.

Also unrelated but I've won a few awards for paintings I've done.
