Hey guys, i was wondering if any of you people make videos of tf2 or any other games for that matter and what codec for dxtory you use, mainly because (mainly my tf2 videos) some videos are still "choppy" looking even though im recording at 60. Right now im using the UtVideo codec but i may switch to the lossless one for future vids.

If you do not use dxtory, i'm still interested in what you use to record your videos :)

srcdemo is good as well (especially if you use premiere or another editor than vegas that likes lower frame rates)

edit: iirc dxtory is similar to OBS in that it is mainly used for live streaming/broadcasting as opposed to recording videos for youtube (or whatever site). Fraps and similar programs can work for making videos but using the in game startmovie command can yield much higher quality results
