r4ptureLiterally the only thing this nerfs is mindless sticky spam, left click right click win game bullshit. After literally two seconds they're the exact same stickies they've always been.

Stickies are most useful the first two seconds their shot though because people are capable of aiming and killing things. You seem bitter you die to sticky spam.

BarryChuckleWhether you like it or not, pretty sure everyone's agreed that this is gonna break the 6v6 meta. What I don't understand is how they thought this would help pubs. It's actually just engineer fortress 2 out there now.

also do you read the patch notes? they just nerfed sentry gun long range damage. It'll now tickle a soldier or demo from range with a medic on them. IF anything engineer just got nerfed bigtime

The problem becomes more serious when you factor in healing. Heal rates haven't been changed, so as someone said before you can't kill a heavy that's being healed. Killing soldiers will take forever and scouts will take 3-4 stickies now. Even if you wait the 2 seconds.

ok im wrong about the rollouts, but either way it changes the pressure of midfights on every map since you no longer have to be so scared of demos lobbing stickies on you

scouts can take 4 stickies if they arent primed.

Valve may have been trying to help out competitive TF2, you know.

This may be a great thing for people watching streams, deciding whether or not to play 6s. Now it will be way easier to make off-uber pushes. This will keep the pace up and decrease the amount of stalemate time. Comp TF2 just got a lot more fun to watch.

It was though. The sticky launcher is a secondary weapon and it was overpowered that's why demo is limited to one, as well as slowing down the game. People keep forgetting about the grenade launcher like it doesn't exist.

I think valve forgot about grenade launcher as well. You're now forced to use it for almost everything but the ammo is still the same, doesn't make any sense.
