#50 Vote for the marketplace.tf MVP of i55! in News

Zebo, Mike and Tek all hit some outrageous airshots that are certainly worthy of flashy highlights. But their overall value for their respective teams, reflected through all of the stats, and the plays and (inevitably) the final placements of the tournament, is less than those of b4nny's. Not a single player at i55 had the same consistent level of impact that he had - huge damage, good ubers, favourable trades and impeccable leadership through comms and plays alike.

A few people (on marketplace.tf and perhaps here) seem to have reluctance to give credit to froyotech members because of their personalities. I personally think that whatever distasteful action the player do in real life is irrelevant in consideration of his worth towards his team.

#24 Top 10 TF2 plays - June 2015 in News

The differences between the qualities of production and the standards of the clips themselves are ridiculously noticeable. I am not saying extv are not entitled to choose what they upload or the clips they uses, but the overall quality of the top 10 plays, as a result of these choice of clips, is undeniably diminishing.

These videos simply fails to promote any competitive side of tf2. From the view of a competitive player, the clips are a joke. From the view of a casual player, the games seems like a gimmick.

Personally, this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufFoSkcG8Vo remains my favourite top 10 plays to date because it has a perfect mix of every side of comp tf2.

#782 MAJOR TF2 update for 6/18/14 (6/19/14, Love & War) in TF2 General Discussion

Whether this nerf is for the better or worse, i think by catering towards the pub players (which these changes were clearly aimed for) valves ignorance towards the meta developed by 6s will likely discourage new players from entering the competitive scene. For how could a player be interested in a format where the fundamental mechanics of the major classes are rendered unstable even in its most competitive setting due to conflicts of interest by the developer?
In my opinion, even though adapting to new strategies (whether it be different playstyles, unlocks or even classes) makes the game fresh and unpredictable, competitive players should not be forced to adapt to changes made in the interest of pubs.

#729 MAJOR TF2 update for 6/18/14 (6/19/14, Love & War) in TF2 General Discussion
azelffif the crit sticky does like 120 or whatever damage to a medic after that damage cant some scouts come in or something and finish him
or a roamer???????

The strongest part of kritz is its surprise factors (thats why it's never used full-time), and you kinda lose that if the first sticky doesn't kill.

If it ain't broken don't fix it :/
The four classes in the 6s format were the most balanced of the 9, no idea why valve would mess around with their stocks.

#29 rip sven in TF2 General Discussion

No Streamer in tf2 (or even other games for that matter) had as much viewer interaction and appreciation as ruwin's stream. And even with such popularity, ruwin has never explicitly or implicitly asked for donation or subscription in anyway - always sincerely thanking each and everyone of his subscriber and viewer for watching.

I am not going to justify what sven did regarding the photo and insult on a girl as not-a-big-deal, but i believe a lot of people are really exaggerating the issue and using it (in addition to the 4G cut) as an excuse to bash the rest of his content and viewers without reasons.

He has always made his stream about learning the various tips and tricks of tf2 in a entertaining but informative method from day 1, and i believe for the most part thats exactly what he did until the day he stopped streaming. Sure the various memes of "bubkis and yolo" are of a slight overuse , but it no doubt made his stream unique and thus gain the popularity it had without sacrificing quality of content.

With the comp tf2 scene being so small in comparison to other competitive games, losing one of our most popular, entertaining and dedicated streamer from such biassed and exaggerated hate is a detriment to our community in my opinion.

At the end of the day, just my two cent :/
