well admined tourney that didn't take days to do matches and a really good turnout made for a great lan. props to those who traveled long hours to come
Tons of fun guys, it was great meeting all the people I have played with/against and seen around the community all these years. Super big shoutout to my man Dashner who not only brought us megawac, but also was working on the cast production for almost the entire LAN, completely forgoing his own fun. His production value on the cast was nothing short of phenomenal.
I took a fuckload of pictures and I will post them either tomorrow or Tuesday, at least the ones that came out well (it was really fucking dark in the venue 99% of the time).

This was a great LAN. FITES wasn't great last year, but they got back on track this time. Everything went smoothly.

it took 6 advil and 12 hrs sleep to get back to normal. solid lan.
My paper ended up being 5.5 pages instead of 8. Rip. I also haven't eaten since we went to McDonalds at 10pm on Saturday.
Was such a great time. I apologize that I forgot to call out defy for being a punk and not coming. I saved up that Oregon beer to share with you, but oh well it was delicious anyways.
Lets do this again neXt year. Dashner is gonna post a wrap up thread soon where we can talk bout what can go better. We want to support gxl lan as well... Lets make these two lans the east coast must attend events for the tf2 community.

First lan I ever went to. I was a little worried going in, but now I feel bad that I didn't go to one earlier. Amazing experience. I loved being around everyone in person. Pugs were fantastic. Tournament was awesome. I can't wait to do it again

FITES was kickass. So glad I got to meet everyone, and thanks again to Street Hoops for giving me the opportunity to play with and against such great players! Hopefully I'll get a chance to do something like this again some day.
By far the best lan I've been to personally. No internet issues, lots of pugs, and tournament was on time (for the most part). Glad I got to meet more people who I've played with for a while now. Still sad the other gato couldn't make it (rip pharaoh's balls). Thanks to extine, duder, dashner and anyone else I'm missing that provided great coverage. Like extine said, hopefully FITES and GXL can be the go to lan's for the east coast. Oh yeah, get fucked clock 8)
