#15 Should cre-8 (me) continue playing FPS games? in Off Topic

the important question is whether playing fps games, or tf2 specifically, makes you happy. in general you should continue activities if you're getting something out of them, and in tf2's case the pretty much only thing you can get out of this game is happiness.

#134 Problem with RGL Policy in TF2 General Discussion
4812622Wait what the fuck? Why is there a limit on players not from North America?

this is a very dumb rule. I imagine they do it because people complain about playing against people with high ping but high ping is literally just a disadvantage on every single class besides maybe sniper.

#42 Happy thoughts 2019 in Off Topic

I joined my college's ultimate frisbee team which is super fun! It's helping me get into a lot better shape and I physically feel very good.

College is also going very well for me, I'm able to keep pretty good grades which I am thankful for, and I got offered a really good internship for the summer; I also have a few interviews for spring internships coming up that hopefully I do well in ^_^. The projects the spring internships are for are very very cool too so I'm excited.

Overall life is just very good, making friends irl, doing well in school, getting into better shape, I'm really excited for next year.

#5 june lft in Recruitment (looking for team)

June is a really fantastic player that I cannot recommend enough. Not only is she a very skilled player herself, one who I am absolutely confident will shake off the rust in no time, but her attitude is great and she's just a fun person to play video games with. She's one of the most dedicated players I have ever met, takes criticism super well, is always down to demo review or mge, and is just altogether a great pickup for any team.

twiikuubearodactyl@twiiku how did you scrape for all the data, could you put it on github as well for those who are curious? Would be interesting to play around with it (search the amount of times 'uwu' was uttered and find Percy's bind takes the gold)Had the chance to get an entire dump of logs.tf for illuminati matters, I think it contains the entire history up to Jul 4th, that amounts to like 10GB, the contents are basically what you get from calling the JSON API on the site.

Do you have any interest in uploading the dump? It seems really fun to play around with and I bet there's a ton of cool visualizations and graphs to be made.
