so it's a new streaming website similar to Twitch but without the horrific amounts of lag.
Seems to be a nicely put together site, with little features here and there that are a nice improvement over Twitch, and the video player is a lot nicer too.
and competition is healthy, either way

would be cool to see more tf2 streams on here, as well as possibly tf.tv stream list support?

The only reason Twitch has a bit of lag is because there are so many people watching other games. But, the site does seem well thought out.

Youtube streaming is also a thing. I know we don't like their new comment system, but their servers are flawless compared to twitch.

I think youtube streaming is by far the best in terms of quality, as well as players options.

I'm actually not so sure it has less lag. I watched 5 mins of mangachu and noticed some lag.

I'm not sure if Twitch lag affects NA as much as it affects EU, especially the UK. Everyone in the UK I've ever spoken to about Twitch experiences the same type of lag; the video plays perfectly smooth for about 30 seconds at a time then stops completely for about 5 and starts stuttering afterwards. The audio works fine.

I feel like I live in another dimension because for me youtube is the laggiest streaming service I've ever seen. Streams freeze every 10 seconds to the point where it's annoying to watch. Even own3d was better than youtube in my experience.

My stream is lagging like crazy, and has some weird visual errors going on as well.
Oh, and chat doesn't work, since pressing enter doesn't send the message.

It's own3dtv 2.0? Avoid at all costs. Not worth even giving these guys a page-hit to check out the site.

KhakiYou guys realize that advertising this is only going to increase the speed at which twitch.tv buysout the website

I fail to see why twich would buy out this trash. Everything about it is a blatant sub-par ripoff on what twich has already accomplished. The only way twitch would "buyout" hitbox would be if the hitbox engineers figured out a way to better scale and distribute live video across Europe. I feel that situation is very unlikely especially since as of now its more likely the site doesn't lag in Europe because of the very fact that they haven't hit scale yet. So could you explain to me exactly why you think it will get "boughtout" because I really don't see it.

I don't think the pathetic numbers hitbox has is making anyone at twich lose sleep. do you disagree with the points I made or do you think twich will buyout a company solely because they "lost" a few thousand viewers to an oddball website that will fizzle out and die in a matter of months.

Well yeah I agree that if the website blows dicks and dies in a few months they wouldn't bother, I was just assuming the site was at least moderately successful
