I think you should be able to change the capitalization of your username, similar to what Twitch does.

My alias on Steam is Element with a capital E, but for some reason I made this account with a lowercase E, which somewhat bothers me.

I don't think it's necessary to make a whole new thread just to request to change the capitalization of a letter(s), so I think this is a decent idea.
