I didn't like the looks of the net_graph and found this tutorial: http://www.dodbits.com/dods/index.php/source-graphics/source-gui-hud-tutorials/34-change-the-netgraph-font-size
INsane's download package uses the DOD:S SourceScheme.res, which makes the console and other panels in TF2 look different. So I followed his instructions, extracted TF2's SourceScheme.res with GCFScape and implemented his modifications. Should work for all resolutions.

My net_graph now looks like this: http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=itemtest000395xi6.jpg
DOWNLOAD: http://www.file-upload.net/download-8041018/sourcescheme.res.html (put into tf/custom/XXX/resource)

For comparison:
default net_graph: http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=itemtest00002pb9l.jpg
net_graphproportionalfont 0: http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=itemtest0001srbp0.jpg

You can also play around with the tall and font value in your resolution section to get an even smaller net_graph (see the tutorial above). You will get overlapping at some point though.

Before (tall 16, default by INsane): http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=itemtest000395xi6.jpg
After (tall 13, no overlapping): http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=itemtest0001ccr2g.jpg

Thought I'd share it, maybe someone else likes it as well. All credit belongs to INsane though! :)

The old sourcescheme broke some things unrelated to net_graph in the steampipe, stuff like console and server list. The new one gives you the same small net_graph but without the broken stuff.

Bit of a gravebump but is there any way to have the netgraph font be changed but not the cl_showfps one?

I doubt it because net_graph and cl_showfps seem to use the same font. The font they use is changed by INsane's approach. You would need the ability to define which font is used by net_graph and cl_showfps respectively. As far as I know that's not possible. Feel free to correct me and find a solution though, I'm not too familiar with the details.

I just started using this and didn't notice anything. Make backups if you're worried.

well it did overwrite the custom hud sourcescheme file so it must have overrided some hud settings, but I dont notice anything atm so I it seems it was nothing important

This is the default TF2 sourcescheme.res with the net_graph font added. If your HUD has a sourcescheme.res (many HUDs don't), this file will overwrite something but I can't possibly say what.

Not sure, probably. You'll have to try following the guide.

csgo and dota use different hud systems than traditional source engine games so i have no idea, you'd have to try.

I know how to change the font, but is there a way to get rid of the bottom part of the netgraph when it's moved up?

That little part at the bottom of the screen is what I am talking about.

Enjoy! Should be default in all HUDs in my opinion.

VoloderIs there a way to do this?

you can use net_graphsolid to get rid of the blue, but other than that, no
edit: which kind of makes using anything above net_graph 1 pointless.

Hello I have been trying to figure out how to edit my font values for the cl_showpos that way I can keep track of my velocity. Yet the font is way to small. I would like to make it much bigger. Although you provide people with an option to make the values to get a smaller font is there a way you can tell me what command that needs to be edited to fix the cl_showpos. If you could point me in the right direction I would love to be able to see how fast I am going just like people do when strafe jumping in quake live.

i dont think there´s a known way to do that kabuto, but u can always use the !speedo plugin playing on insecure mode. (You won´t be able to join normal servers while -insecure is on your launch options...)
