I try to share news and other types of articles from across all Fortress domains on this web site.

https://united.tf
(built on comptf2c.com, so it will re-direct there)

Thank you.
I agree, but comptf2c has already existed for over a year, and I wanted to build the new site upon that existing build. There is no easy way to re-generate all the links to start with united.tf while keeping it within the same structure.
But this feedback actually made me face what I was avoiding. It will break the live website for some time but I'll try to do it.

Took me about 5 days and breaking the site constantly but post&page links unique to unitedTF are now re-generated and routed to the united.tf domain.
So this should be a working link now, https://united.tf/the-wall/ ,
or this, https://united.tf/2026/05/30/two-spring-season-grand-finals-from-two-continents-and-two-game-modes-on-one-saturday/

for some reason i really was expecting this to be early european history recreated with the mercs. like a bunch of soldiers wearing Roaming Romans marching into greece or heavy as Julius Ceaser in a room full of spies

Sounds more fun than 8000 words consisting mostly of nicknames after country flags

Thank you, mate.
Back in the day I had a tf2 coverage website (in Turkish) for which I got some Wordpress plugins from the VanillaTF2 guys-- the country flags plugin (made by F2, Epsilon's medic) and match ticker
(by DeNeusbeer).
It's flattering you're making the comparison but vanillatf2's motto was "a sh*tty post rather than no post at all", lowering the threshold for what passes as an article or who can be an author, and turning written comp tf2 coverage into a daily phenomenon. United.tf is nothing like that, unfortunately, although I try to write low-effort articles as well to avoid a burn out or being demotivated in the long run. The main purpose of united.tf is to give the surviving old Fortress games some recognition and longevity by bringing in new interest. And if I can squeeze in some TF2 content every now and then, that's my favorite.

I recognize you from SolarLight's video, by the way. I started comp tf2 in 2009 as well. Never had the time to dedicate to get out of the div7 mud. But I still like watching and following it whenever I can, and creating content like this.
I would like to make more old tf2 interviews like this in a far future. I got in touch with Arie, F2 and Byte after publishing this one, and got very positive feedback. Your feedback was also very pleasant, as well as some other people contacting me here and there. Thank you for taking your time to read and comment.
