You have to use your brain if you want to win.

Yesterday was the day I realized that aiming is not enough for you to win. No matter what game you play. Sometimes it´s not only your mouse control that is the issue, but your brain as well. If you only care about aiming, then how can you expect to win?

I have never been interested in gaming really. The more I had to use my brain the more I wanted to uninstall the game. Aiming was just fun to me so that kept me going.

This is why I ball chase in rocket league, and ignore my team. This is why I only play FPS games. This is why I always play without my team in counter strike. This is why I never use utilities in counter strike either. This is why I only play Hanzo in overwatch. I literally just never cared about using my brain in video games. In hearthstone I always just hoped my deck would do the work for me. I never cared to make smart decisions, I would just gamble and hope that my deck would work. The same goes for aiming. I always just hoped that my aim was enough for me to win, but that simply is just not the case. My aim is so good right now, but I literally don´t think. I am not present. I go for frags, do risky moves, I don´t play with my team, I don´t communicate, and it just keeps going. I realized that I will actually have to focus on the game itself if I want to win, and that is just a painful idea to me, and that is why I will not improve in gaming.

Now that I think about it. None of the top players are aiming geeks either. Most of these top players never cared or focused on aiming, and that is why they have high elo, because they focus on the game itself. They just happened to be good at aiming as well.
