First off you have to organize everything: Find out who's playing on which teams, add them and their steamid if they're not already in the system, decide on the prices for everyone and figure out how much money to make available for players.
Then after you've set everything up it's pretty much just uploading logs from every match with a description and a timestamp to keep everything organized

Good summary, but you forgot the oath of eternal loyalty to me

Site is also dead dead, if you somehow know how to make a replacement in less than 2 weeks, now is the time
would love to have fantasy for i63, so many beast players and teams going
I know Beater did work with this as well - Jon, is it possible to pass the service on to Beater / someone else?
I'd be happy to donate for the website costs and potentially help out if it means I can still participate

I'm super bummed out about not being able to do fantasytf2 for i63. I haven't been able to get a response from Jon about whether or not it's possible to pass the service on to anyone else, but I suspect we're going to have to rebuild a new fantasytf2 from the ground up. It certainly doesn't seem like anything that can be achieved before i63 goes live.
To get fantasytf2 back we would need a person to code the site, a person to enter data (I can do that) and we need to pay for the domain.
If you know how to code and want to work on this feel free to add me on steam or pm me on this site and we can talk.

Controversial Opinion:
Fantasytf2 got my interest in European tf2 and I know this is also the case for allot of people outside of the euro scene. I feel like jon's statements are a big cop out, an easy answer to a difficult question of racism and bigotry in this community. We all have to deal with this idiocy jon, but that dosen't mean you take the first bus out of controversy-vile.
On both sides I've lost outstanding respect for everyone involved in this stupidity, good guys and bad guys. Everyone wants to just quit like bitches and not deal with the dumpster fire. WELL ITS NOT GOING AWAY, AND LEAVING ISN'T GOING TO HELP ANYTHING. You put thousands of hours into a website that everyone enjoyed, and when things got rough you quit. What a stupid ending to an amazing story.

gjon donated a LOT of time and money into building things for the community long after he had truly been invested in the scene. he doesn't owe anyone anything and if he doesn't feel proud of being part of the community he has his rights to take his own stuff down and not share it.

Praise be to your new God! Twiikuu has somehow managed to put together a new FantasyTF2 in less than three days and you will be able to make a fantasy team for i63.
We will have more information for you soon, but I'm sure showering Twiikuu with your praise and appreciation will only cause him to work faster!

i mortgaged my house to buy mak fantasy stocks and now im broke. heed my warning
the site keeps removing all the players from my team. is anyone else having this problem?
Sorry for the chud up, I'm still investigating what's going on
When it's fixed, I'll try to fix the roster histories so people get points for rounds that passed, so I think you should try to continue buying rosters for upcoming rosters?
EDIT: I'm a fucking caveman and basically made it so anytime you update your roster, everyone else's rosters get terminated except for the few players you have in common
It's fixed now and I'll get to fixing the roster histories
If you still have login issues, please get in touch, I have not been able to reproduce
EDIT 2: All roster histories have been restored
EDIT 3: you can now sort on the player stats page

Logging in thru steam works for me but trying to manage team or add a player gives a connection error
Implemented the leaderboard and a page to check people's rosters
E: I am keen to hear your feedback! From what I've gathered:
- Mobile compatibility is very important for LAN events
- I saw a lot of people not really interact with their roster after their initial setup, I think the cognitive load was too heavy and there was a lack of feedback/notifications after matches are reported. Maybe people are just not that keen either? Dunno.
- Needs notifications when you win points after matches get reported
- Obviously player stats page needs a lot of improvements, including interactivity
- Needs indications that teams/players are eliminated, need notifications when someone in your roster is eliminated
- Needs to show how much time you have to buy players until the next round
- I will make it so you can update roster between maps on the last stages with only one match. (Note that we couldn't do that on prior stages because it lets you double dip if teams start late.)
Overall I'm very happy with how I've built the project, it's mostly the same backend stuff that was running at i63 (postgres + postgREST + sqitch), with the addition of Mathesar that's kinda new and that gives me backoffice website for free. Making the backoffice was what stopped me last time because it's a massive labor bottleneck.
I already know how I can add some automation to make admin tasks quite easy.
I am keen to run this for online leagues if Beater is up for maintaining the price lists :)
