As always, I am unsure if there is a thread similar to this, so I decided to make my own :)
How/where did you get your Alias?
What meaning does it have?
For me, 'Noona' is half of my last name. It was a nickname for me in school since there was several "Ethan's" in my grade and it was easier for everyone to remember and they apprently enjoyed saying it. Coincidentally, Noona means older sister in Korean. This was not my intention for the name, but its neat because I have three older sisters that have had a huge impact on my life (Even though its only been 14 years long :P)

In a cheat book I read about a game that was indexed in Germany, called Cannon Fodder. I thought it was cool to have a name that was somewhat forbidden and also a bit ironic so I used "CannonFodd3r" as nickname (I replaced the e with a 3 because that was also cool at that time).
After a few years, it became hip to shorten your nick so "CannonFodd3r" turned into "CanFo"

Before I started to use Steam or something of the sort, I sorta just played Flight Simulator games and games like Quake along with RPG games. Which led me to playing with inverted y-axis controls (Up = down, down = up). Aaaanyways, I went by Crazyboyquad for a while because of the style I was playing and that I was... uh a kid back then. :P Creative nayums, mayun.
Soon after I hit TF2 and Zombie games, along with Steam, I went back to my old roots which is my yahoo name. sonnyjaboy <- Now that name did not come from souljaboy or some stuff. I didn't like rap or even heard of the guy. =D

I was bored of my old alias, so I was going through a bunch of pun names. I had just got a Boston Boom Bringer, so I came up with "Dewey Decibel Sound System." And over time I just dropped the rest of the name and went with Dewey.

i use a different alias on almost every website/game/whatever
plus if i stay on a site for more than a few months (not very common) i get tired of a name and decide to change it. unfortunately not possible on this site which is why my account name isn't my steam name but i guess i could just make an alt or something
thaumiel is a scp foundation reference. one alias on another forum i got from the first thing i saw on my computer screen when registering. previous tf2 alias was kiriona which i got by pasting random phonemes together. before that i don't remember.

Then I started watching TF2 6's videos like -AA-. And people aren't able to pronounce "kleptomaniac" correctly, so I cut my name to just the first two letters (like Jh).
And since most sites don't allow 2 letters for usernames, I use the phonetics for my name.

After a lot of bad names from when I was like 15 (darth shadow, ect I played Star wars battlefront at the time) I decided to think of something that would stick.
Unfortunately I couldn't think of a name and got really sick and threw up some eggs. Yeagz was the word that came out of my mouth ( pronouced yeggs) but everyone pronounced it wrong so I changed it to yeeegz

I used to have the name Magikarp in 1.6, and I named it as a joke because I'd look useless since I always ran the scout, but I could actually aim with it, so I thought it'd be funny to name myself after a Pokemon that was considered a joke/worthless to everyone at the time.
Whenever I start playing a new game, I usually create a new alias for myself, so at the time when Team Fortress 2 became available, I was usually playing Super Smash Bros. with my high school friends nearly every day, and I took a liking to the name Fox and just stuck with it. I didn't know at the same time, the quake player fojji (also named Fox), was playing Team Fortress 2, and people always mistook me for being 'the good fox', so I added the peace after my name because in the fighting games that I played, I always played on the defensive and took the least aggressive methods to win like running and grappling as soon as I got a life lead. The symbol in my name is a secret though. :3

I grew up going to this day camp in the summer and then started working there, and all the staff had a nickname. Mine was Owl. owl was taken on ESEA so I went with mr_owl and used that here too.

My name comes from two things sort of.
One of my favorite books is 100 Years of Solitude and in that book there is a character named Pietro Crespi.
Also, one of my favorite singer-songwriters ever did a song with a reference to that character, and here it is below.

Naw he's a fox irl confirmed.
My alias: I have always favored out thinking and tricking my opponents in video games (ever since crash bandicoot 1 my first game). Sneaky came out of that and Polar Bear came from who know where. I love polar bears a lot so I guess that's where it came from.
I am also baconator on XBL and PSN.
