Noramana- violin for 16 years thus far, nowadays occasionally play (switch to a 5 string electric)
- did piano for about...6? 7? years, really only to support my violin
- clarinet for about 4-5 years, mostly in band
- bassoon for a year, in band
- guitar, just recently, maybe a couple months though I gotta play it more

- synthesizers/DAW on and off for about 12 years, doing more of it recently
- gameboy, only just recently acquired, it's pretty awesome

What DAW do you use/prefer? I've been using Live 8.

FL Studio, on PC. I use Tabletop on iPad (since I work on it for my day job).

Dude, panzer, I totally forgot, I did Samulnori too, also Seoljanggu. Let me see if I can find vids...

Samulnori https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_d-BCJ2d5TE I'm sitting in the second to last row-ish, near the middle.

I've been playing cello for around 7 years now. I unfortunately don't have much time to play and I don't have my cello up with me at college. I may or may not sneak into our orchestra building and borrow a cello to play for a while.

Played throughout high school, as well as doing Men's choir. Stuff was fun, pit for musicals was the best.

I'm about to hit 10 years of playing trumpet.
I do symphonic, jazz and marching band.
I'm the captain of the brass section of the marching band and I help write music for it and also help with the choreography.

Outside of marching season, I do jazz / symphonic performances, and whenever I'm at home and not playing games, I'm usually writing music of my own and or messing with anything music related.

Solo Fingerstyle Acoustic Guitar.

It's a lot more difficult than playing with a pick and most of the songs that sound really good with this kind of style can take months of practice to get right and requires ridiculous amounts of finger dexterity. It pays off so much in the end though once you can play it perfectly.

for anyone aspiring to be a little more complex with recording their music at home your go to DAWS should be cubase 5 and any version above that, reason, ableton live, logic etc

pro tools is overrated and extremely linear in terms of exceeding maximum potential of what a daw can really do. the ones i had mentioned above are a little more advanced but you can become self taught no problem, a little trial and error and some elbow grease, it will have you navigating around in no time. enjoy ! PM me if you have any questions about outboard gear/software/studio monitors etc

A little bit of ... drums, guitar, bass, keys. If I didn't play video games and put that time into at least one of these I'd pretty much be invite at it by now. Shoutouts to Ibanez, Yamaha, and Axis floor boards.

I have some recordings of my jazz combo from high school. I was on the alto sax.

Now I'm just trying to pick up the occasional song on piano by ear.
