the song kind of represents like a fleeting out of body kind of experience. A feeling of sorrow, regret, revelation. Sad but triumphant, like a person moving on and healing after a period of grief.

I can’t really get into that stuff, it’s ravey. Like its only purpose is to just accelerate a high, it’s not enjoyable to listen to. I like dynamic stuff, weird drum patterns, melody riding a roller coaster through the soft and loud spots.

^1st song starts out good but doesn't anywhere, 2nd same thing but has some cool chords, 3rd song goes somewhere but it kills a lot of the energy doing so and the end of the song doesn't feel final, definitely unique music though

Both songs were in my opinion pretty powerful with their messages and in general pleasant to listen to. I preferred the first one however due to it being more upbeat and pop-esque. James Brown's words were withoutdoubt meaningful as well, but I didn't personally enjoy him "talking", if you get what I mean.

muse used to be in my constant rotation when i was in high school but as far as their most popular songs go i genuinely cannot relisten to them anymore. this song however i was pleasantly surprised to revisit. enjoyed the slow paced build up and think the vocal performance on this one is a lot better than shit like Uprising which sounds custom tailored to get put in car commercials
