When I played with him during a scrim when he was ringing for another team it didn't seem like he was good enough to be cheating, but i'm no anticheat admin. If you even consider him be extra careful. I heard rumors he got vac'd because of steam achievement manager, but that has to be major bs.
Malware can give false positives to vac so there is always the minor chance that was the reason, but I lean much more heavily towards him being a cheater.

Sorry I just didn't wanna give any attention to the idiotic assumptions that my vac ban was because I hacked. I have multiple ways of proving I don't hack, the VAC ban wasn't because of hacking. I will never find out why from valve about why the account was banned so everyone who knows about my VAC ban will either understand or be childish and claim I hacked or cheated.

thats because 99.9% of people that get vac banned get banned because they cheated. its usually a pretty safe assumption.

then it might be a good idea to provide that proof. valve has issued false vac-bans before but they seem extremely uncommon. plus iirc they are removed within a few days/weeks, yours is still up there 3 months later. don't be jaded because people are skeptical, a vac-ban implies the worst so its totally reasonable for the community to assume the worst.

VAC works by (I dumbed down how it actually works about for time's sake) searching through your computer for modified game files.

There is no way you could have been VAC banned without downloading a cheat

Okay so I am one of the players that lost to his team in silver finals and I have pugged with him several times/just been around him in mumble.

All that said, in my experience with him he never cause a red flag to be as far as hacking goes but then again neither did scout who. I am usually pretty cautious to think anyone is hacking. However I can say that his aim compared to his gamesense would suggest he either 1. did cheat or 2. was a massive dm lord but honestly in the time I have know him I never felt like he practiced his dm all that often. Though that could be that he used to practice it a ton and just hadn't been in the time I have known him. Now all that said, given the evidence I do feel it is likely he was cheating but I don't feel strongly that way.

This following part will be written as if there was no reason to believe he hacked/he is able to prove he didn't/the vac ban gets removed.

I last interacted with duffle more than a season ago, however at that time he was a low open scout with high open dm. Extremely cocky and self centered. When the subject is other people he seems to be a genuinely nice guy though.

I have nothing to hide with my old account, it got VAC banned. I didn't hack or cheat and I have no idea what the VAC flagged my account for, but I'm not gonna convince people who already against me because the VAC system is so "flawless". I've tried to get it lifted but you all know how steam is with this sort of thing. I am innocent believe it or don't believe it. I chose to come back to this game because I like it and it's one of my favorite games to play competitively.

I mean 7 instances is a pretty flawless record considering that 2.2 MILLION people have gotten banned by the VAC software

My account has a VAC ban. It doesn't have to do with source games which is why I play on it still but shit does happen. Also I was in the scrim with aiera and he doesn't hack (at least not in that scrim). I'm not saying he hasn't cheated before but I don't think he deserves all this shit.

why would you hack to win silver of all divs

We're not talking bout aiera, we're talking about duffle. There's a difference between getting your account banned on source games (a really big deal) and being banned from call of duty several years ago
