http://play.esea.net/index.php?s=esports&d=comments&id=13006

I'm excited to announce ESEA League Season 15, which will feature a global Invite division for CSGO, an inaugural European TF2 Open division, North American TF2 Main, League of Legends Open, and over $90,000 in cash prizes. Season 15 will also feature a number of improvements based on user and team feedback from Season 14.

Registration for S15 is now open and will remain so until Monday, September 16th, 2013 at 11:59pm CST. Once registration closes there will be a few days for teams to get acquainted with the system and to schedule their first matches, which will begin Sunday, September 22nd, 2013.

Key Changes From Season 14 to Season 15:

  • Increased overall prize pot to $90,000+
  • Inaugural North American TF2 Main division
  • Inaugural European TF2 Open division
  • Increased number of League servers on new hardware to ease scheduling availability

Features of ESEA League include:

  • Two matches per week for all divisions
  • Every registered team will receive a free ESEA Voice server
  • Complete web match scheduling
  • SMS scheduling alerts
  • All matches played on our ESEA servers across 14 global locations
  • Protection from our industry leading anti-cheat / config locking Client
  • Helpful team of handpicked paid league Admins who are active in each community
  • Complete box scores and stats for every match
  • SpecTV replay downloads for every match within 5 minutes of matches finishing
  • Automatic live SpecTV for every match (unlimited number of spectators)
  • Automatic POV replay recording
  • User prediction system for every match
  • LAN event for all Invite division playoffs
  • You build your permanent league record

More money, more divisions, more servers, more teams -- onwards we march. With CSGO rumored to be going free to play in the near future, this season should prove to be one of our biggest yet. Work continues on all fronts to keep ESEA moving in the right direction, and we're all as committed as ever to continual improvement across the board.

Team move ups and move downs, a full prize pot breakdown, as well as the map rotations will be announced within the coming weeks so be sure and check back often.

I saw "EU TF2, MAIN DIVISION $90k+ in Prizes"

yea but the top 4 open teams playing the #6-#3 IM teams in the same small division would be pointless

Troll Killing. Also seeing how S14 had $89380 of prizes this might not be that biggest raise. Anyway the EU part sounds awesome; more moolah to give to HRG.

i think the only reason why last season was a lot more was because of the bitcoin fiasco and them adding more money into the prize pots

if they're expanding TF2 so much it's a possibility that they allocate more money to the TF2 prize pool

They do deserve to go to invite, even if they have mangachu. They would probably get 1st or closer in main but that depends who moves down or up divisions.

Yeah true. Anyway I am guessing that it will go up as EU teams sign up.
