Allealholy hell i hope valve doesnt listen to spuf. they want to put Scout's +25 health on mad milk, because they think the shortstop is already OP.

if they don't put it on the mad milk you could have 165 HP Scouts (247 HP buffed).

+25 hp with mad milk means 150hp scattergun scouts, who can heal themselves by doing damage. I know the lack of pistol hurts and all, but damn.

But aside from that, I hope they don't mess with the stock weapons, they're perfect as it is. I also hope they don't mess with any medic unlocks, mostly the ubersaw, kritzkrieg, and crossbow in a really bad way.

Guess I'll just have to settle with the invis watch from now on as spy. :( But this update will be very colossal and will probably make pubs less of a shitfest annoyance to play. Hopefully.

Also, after this maybe more weapons will ACTUALLY be viable in HL/6v6 play, it's just a silent plead from me.

They might split it up so 15+ hp to the milk and then +10 to the shortstop. Either one is pretty bad though. And the fish is just suppose to be funny. idk what they can do. hopefully it isn't completely broken though.

I cannot see why they'de put it on anything besides the shortstop. Mad milk is a bit insane already and adding a hp boost would be too much.

besides that's the fault of the PBPP not the set effect.

we could just not have the effect at all.

hey wait I just realized, were they paying attention to that weapon balancing thread a while back that devolved into pyro discussion? sal DID say he wanted the first post to be a quick overview of weapon problems so some poor old employee didn't have to deal with us yellin' at each other

Since they said they will move set bonuses to certain items, I wonder if items like the Sleeper or the Danger Shield will be banned from HL for having the bonus of immune to headshots on it.

On a side note: Battalions Backup looks like it will be really viable for HL now, as it is already banned in 6s. I wonder if anyone will utilize the resistances for pushes into enemy combos when they have no uber, or sentries. (What about the set bonus for soldier? The resistance to sentries one, that's not banned right?)

makes me wonder with all the weapon fix if it isnt a preparation for the lobby system.
Valve decide to fix the game balance and bugs in map so people can truly immerse with the game as they can play with more weapons+fixes

i don't think it's going to help that they are buffing the method of charging it, plus the actual effect of the pack itself

the reason it was restricted in esea that one season (dunno if it's still blacklisted), almost every team was running it as a mini-uber on viaduct week, and almost any team that wasn't using it was gimping themselves against a team that was running it during that time period

i think it's absurd they're making it even better

Well the thing about the battalion's backup is that as good as it may be in sixes, where teamwork and small teams (in which everyone can be covered by the buff!) is involved, it is banned-yet the fact still stands it's next to useless in pubs. The buff should be interesting in that regard

I'd rather they reduced resistance as damage as done so a smart player is rewarded with a kill rather than the cloak be reduced by a player spamming all around straight after the feign, before the spy can attempt an escape.
