I fixed granary

http://puu.sh/gDhOH/82930179f8.png

In all seriousness, it's a jumbled mess of a map so I applaud you for trying to fix it. I hope it helps.

#89 The demoman nerf: a semi-statistical analysis in TF2 General Discussion

I don't want to blindly dismiss what you're trying to accomplish here, but you just spent nearly 7000 characters (didn't count URLs) to say a simple sentence: Demo has been made to deal less damage per sticky when firing them in one way and resultingly, demos are dealing less overall damage.

It seems like a fairly straightforward result given the change that was made.

As far as what it's done to the game... has it really affected much? Demos now do less overall damage and are forced to change up their style of play in order to remain most effective. Does it suck for demos? Perhaps. Is it a buff to soldiers and scouts alike? Absolutely. Does it really hurt the game? No.

Stickies have a much lower radius of damage when in the air. This means that going forward, demos will have to work harder to fire stickies in a way that they're closer to the enemies when detonating them in the air. Again, it sucks for the demo but doesn't really affect the game since both teams are equally affected. Pipe aim becomes more critical. Sticky traps and area denial become more critical.

As a fellow washed-up demo main and as a player who is unwilling to dedicate the time required to properly adapt to the change, I understand it's kind of annoying to have your class manipulated so massively, but let's face reality: after 7 years of existence, this game is pretty stale. Major changes like this force you to either stay on your toes or fall behind as other people adapt. Is it really bad? I'm willing to say, 'not really'.

#4 demo/roamer in Recruitment (looking for team)

Cool dude who's pretty damn good and isn't afraid to walk around wearing pink (purple?) ears at LANs. Three important qualities.

#42 TF2 Update - 10/30/14 in TF2 General Discussion

Losing your uber percentage when you back-spawn is intended. It's the punishment for having to back-spawn. I don't know about other leagues, but a round can be overturned in ESEA if a medic exploits that.

After traffic and construction woes, just under 21 hours to make the trip. That drive sucked.

#2 Powerline networking in Hardware

You mention wireless and extenders. A powerline adapter is not a wireless extender. It works in such a way that it will either work great for you or not at all. They're all pretty much the same. You probably won't see anywhere near the advertised bandwidth, but as long as you get a signal at all, it'll be more stable than wireless.

If you don't get a signal at all, try moving the devices to different outlets until you find a signal. It is heavily dependent upon how your home's electrical wiring has been run.

AllealI'm curious as to why you think this category exists. How would you distinguish between conditioned homosexuals and latent homosexuals? How would you differentiate environment as a cause for orientation and environment as a vehicle for it?

I think it exists because I don't think there's any way that it couldn't exist. Is a murderer born a murderer? Is a pedophile born a pedophile? The majority of our lives are shaped by our surroundings, whether we notice it or not. Why wouldn't it sometimes spill into sexuality?

What about a sexually curious college girl who enjoys the company of men, but finds herself experimenting with girls and decides she likes it better, so she flips? Was she born heterosexual? Bisexual? Pansexual? Who's to say?

What about a prison inmate with a 75 year term who was as straight as any man has ever been, but he becomes sexually active with men over the course of his stint? Was he born as a heterosexual or bisexual?

#213 this is why we have LAN finals in TF2 General Discussion

Snowdream, I think you misinterpreted the photos. I was indicating that I fell victim to the bait. :-|

I was going to let it go after mustard's post, but ya done got me riled up and ready for drama.

yankeesex is biological, gender is a social construct. i don't see how you could construe yourself as the victim in this situation when all you're being asked is to show someone a modicum of respect by using pronoun that they identify as.mustardoverlordthe problem is, you are objectively wrong about the definition of gender, because you are confusing gender with sex.

if you don't know how being transgender works or dont know what a specific person is or what pronoun they prefer, an LGBT person harassing you for your ignorance is a double-standard. however, if you recognize the way they see themself and still refer to them by the WRONG pronoun based on the biological fallacy, you are a bigot.

OK, I did incorrectly refer to 'actual gender' vs 'preferred gender' when, by today's dictionary definitions, I should have referred to sex vs gender. I'm not necessarily calling myself a victim; I'm merely pointing out how contradictory it is to push for LGBT acceptance and equality while simultaneously squandering the beliefs of those who aren't like-minded.

e.g. Colonel Mustard believes that homosexuality shouldn't be shunned, but homosexuals should be treated as equals in the eyes of the public/government/etc. Professor Plum believes homosexuality is biologically incorrect and doesn't agree with its acceptance. Colonel Mustard then shuns Professor Plum and calls him a bigot for having a different belief system. It doesn't matter what you believe, you should accept the other person and their beliefs without shunning them. Calling someone a bigot because you disagree with their beliefs makes you, by definition, a bigot. Unfortunately, this scenario is more than common in the LGBT movement.

I have a very definite belief system and mason is right, I am stubborn with them. I don't agree with homosexuality as a lifestyle, but I am more than tolerant of it. I accept it, and I don't think less of those who are homosexual. I don't treat them any differently. I absolutely think they should have the same rights as heterosexuals.

I feel much the same about transgendered people. They should have the same rights and be treated the same.

On the other hand, let's say that I meet a person on the street with an unmistakably feminine gender identity and I fall in love with her. Some time passes and I find out she is biologically male, has a penis, and has been dishonest the entire time. Moving forward, during interactions with this person, am I supposed to use the pronouns she and her? No. It's clearly a man, and therefore will be referred to as such. Granted, that's an extreme example, but it's just an illustration. It's not about respect or bigotry.
