#4 Panacea LFT Season 23 Medic High Open in Recruitment (looking for team)

Has come a really long way since he started and is a talented young medic who won't disappoint a team looking at playoffs in open next season.

Comms/Calls: 4/5. Is still getting the hang of calling everything he needs to, but is a smart and engaged main caller who would strongly benefit from a season of actually performing the role of main caller.

DM: 5/5, Fine arrows, would hide in a corner and get saved again.

Mechanics: 3/5, where he needs the most work. His uber management and heal distribution under pressure is weak, but level appropriate and would see massive improvements, especially with a strong bully pocket that is willing to swing that dick around in an uber fight.

Attitude: 5/5. Wants to improve, actively seeks advice/mentorship, watches demos, tilts rarely and never out-loud, occasional memer but he brings it out when appropriate instead of every 5 seconds like some of his former teammates. Would recommend.

#1840 ESEA-O S22 Happenings/Predictions in TF2 General Discussion

Would have liked to have kept the thread of the game and made it even more back and forth for the whole game instead of just the first half and a round. Would have loved a chance at granary. But yall played really well, came a long was as a team through the season and if you stick together will do so well in IM.

Can confirm that this man is psychologically incapable of tilting. He played with me, apt and def without engaging in titanic levels of tilting so he will be as steady as a rock.

#120 Newbie Mix Coaches in TF2 General Discussion

Apparently Rogue is the only person who actually cares about the community.

For everyone else, come coach excited newbies for 6v6 TF2, tonight is going to be huge in moving a lot of newer players into ESEA and having it run smoothly is going to be key.

In addition, for every game that you coach, you are entered into a raffle that, I am told, this week is a gift on steam :O

The scoreboard needs to be small, minimal and transparent where possible to facilitate people actually using the damn thing.

#11 LAN location interest survey in LAN Discussion

As a quick update, the hotspots seem to be Chicago and NYC/Philly. I have made contact with groups in those areas and though we have nothing settled or official, I hear the weather is chilly in November so have a coat.

#4 Future Toronto LANs Discussion in LAN Discussion

I am not saying that you shouldn't work on some Toronto stuff, but hit me up because lee and I have been working on North East and Chicagoland stuff that looks pretty promising and we don't want to splinter potential audiences.

#21 Any good movies you've watched recently? in Off Topic

Let the right one in might be the best horror movie ever.

Grab a Kubrick or a Tarantino, 2001, Clockwork Orange, full metal jacket, (sleeper pick is dr. strangelove or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb.), pulp fiction is a true boiling down of 90s filmography and then turned up to Tarantino's typical 11, Django unchained is one of favorite movies of the last few years.

Silence of the lambs is a must watch, as is minority report.

#34 GXL in LAN Discussion
ShdSteelKnuckles_if we get a LAN at Indy I'm requiring everyone to bathe before their allowed within a mile of my home.

I hear some of you fucks went to GXL and thought people were kidding when they said you smelled bad... nuh-uh. not around my saint of a mother.
The hell?! People actually do this... I understand that some of you don't want to rent a hotel room to save money but come on, hygiene is important.

And almost anyone would let you hop into their room to shower for 20 minutes, if only to spare themselves the unique horror of 3 day unwashed nerd fed a steady diet of travel, mountain dew and grease.

#1 LAN location interest survey in LAN Discussion

All,

I can make no promises, but I have the contacts and drive to help set up a TF2 LAN, either at a pre-existing venue or a smaller, TF2 only event. But with all this talk about LANs, I feel as if it is important to know what cities are viable for TF2 players that would attend a LAN.

A lot more than accessibility goes into LANs, but if the people won't come, no sense in building it.

Please only record a response if you would attend (date and personal events nonwithstanding), if you are the kind of person who would never attend a LAN due to crippling social anxiety, parental overabundance, or monetary insufficiency, I love you but I don't care about your response. Leaving your name helps me get an idea of the kinds of people we would be seeing at these events, but is not mandatory.

Please share with your friends and community members that you think might be interested in a LAN event. I strongly believe that it is the community spirit that has held this game together for so long, and the events that we have are a cornerstone of that community and help attach faces to aliases, forming lasting friendships. If this game is to survive in a form we recognize, having regular NA events that are accessible to large parts of the community is essential.

#9 GXL in LAN Discussion
joejoe347drshdwpuppetIf anyone knows of a LAN event that they think would be a good venue for a tf2 tournament the size of gxl, let me know. I am willing to admin and run a tournament and liaise with LAN organisers to make it happen.
I assume FITES lan is still happening? They've always been happy to host tf2.

I have heard whisperings of FITES being no more next year, and they don't truly have the infrastructure to support a gxl sized gathering of you nerds.

FanglesGg to evil too bad my cat was laying on my foot and my left arm was kinda more sweaty than usual and I was tired cause work and I had the wrong Playlist on in the background and Joes voice triggers me and my desk felt kinda wobbly and I kept hitting my keyboard and I didn't have enough milk with my ores before the match and I was upset cause I have work in the morning and uhhhhhhhh yeah. Maybe in playoffs amirite? ? Jk I won't be playing then

Damn man, if you are going to have to play under those awful conditions, you should just kill the team and post on tftv about how you weren't going to make playoffs anyway.

#31 Our entire production crew has made an ow org... in TF2 General Discussion

Good. These are incredibly talented individuals who came to the same conclusion that Lange came to. TF2 is a great game, but not something that you can continue pouring your all into long term and expect to reap the rewards that you are due.

I hope they continue to spend some time with TF2, but I hope even more that their OW adventures bring them the fame, money, connections, career and persons of the gender of their choice. Gl guys <3

#32 So... what did this update actually fix? in TF2 General Discussion

Playing aggressive scout medic and getting in there enemy face with perma buffed scouts is now even better and safer. I play medic and I recognize this is a Bad Thing.
