what incentive would anyone have to ever discuss this obviously loaded non-question after ur entire post was just a passive aggressive insult at them
congrats ur experiment worked out exactly the way you obviously set it up to work (probably just like the studies in the article)
haha im glad you liked it jordan :) let me see if i can upload another one.
i liked your first image yukari. not sure i get the second one :\
whymeoalderwhy did you post this
are you a troll and you wanted to read other people shitpost about this or are you genuinely hoping for a discussion about your subject line
Genuinely interested to see if anyone would attempt to respond to the content of the article.
So far it's looking like a no.
then why didnt you write the fucking post to be about the actual content of the fucking article you smug asshole
this issue always gets overhyped when really its mostly just an interesting moral conundrum.
self-driving cars will be inherently safer than regular cars, and obviously there will be lots of internal and external safeguards against this issue (constant brake failure checks, street runoffs, separating vehicles and pedestrians, etc)
the site even specifically puts barriers on the sides of the roads to force you into this contrived scenario lmao
As someone who majorly supports a self-driving future:
Anyone violating road laws should understand that they receive low precedence in these scenarios.
Anyone willingly choosing a self driving car should understand that they take responsibility and consequences of a scenario like this.
Teaching AI to intervene by actively killing anyone should be avoided.
Societal value should only come into play when deciding between two otherwise equal outcomes.
