I seriously doubt MGE stats is going to be an accurate way to measure this kind of thing...
pink floyd hey you
the doors touch me
either or
my 4770k overclocked can go to like 800 or even more crazy shit sometimes, cap it at 240. its essentially a 4670k with hyper threading
That was insane, great job.
PlatypusSetsulDepends on the "performance updates" by valve.a 4770k won't see any performance gain over a 4670k in any game, with the possible exception of battlefield 4, where hyperthreading can be used, and even then, its a nearly negligible performance gain. TF2 uses a 32bit client, so max 2 threads and 4gb(?) ram can be used.
I'm using a 4770K too (although with a 7970 GHZ) and on maxquality I'm usually getting stable 240 fps in 6s, some drops in HL and some random bad drops (worst I've had was 80) in pubs, because TF2 refuses to use more than 30% of the CPU. If I can fix the CPU usage problem I'll get 240fps constant, everywhere, all the time.
tl;dr
It'll destroy TF2, as much as it is possible after years of horrible updates.
For other games the GPU might be a bit of a bottleneck, especially on 120Hz (but you can always switch to 60Hz for demanding single player games e.g. Crysis 3).
Definitely won't get better fps, but for streaming and multi tasking the extra cores are really nice (though I've never used a 4570k irl for more than 5 minutes so I can't really comment on the real world difference)
do you have the bios updated? That was giving me some crashes ealier (not necessarily blue screeens, sometimes it would just freeze on the frame and not respond and i'd have to kill the power like you escribed), though I don't know how that would make it only crash at a certain time.
Holy shit going huge
i actually have a 1 week one if anyone needs D09CC37A8A0CEABC762570DE82199788
might be expired though
edit prolly gone now
Tbh the few tf2center lobbies I've done have been worse than tf2lobby. Will probably get better in the future though. Hopefully tf2.gg will be good as well, haven't personally done any there yet.
would have sold me the ec1 for cheap af but im poor and dumb
free bump
Fps hasn't changed at all with i7 4770k. Rip my old phenom ii x4 though, it gets like 20fps now. Used to get almost 100
Edit:3770k should be able to run the game fine, check your drivers and stuff. Definitely something off there.
Looking for some guys to play vidyo games with next season in cevo. Have some experience in ugc and backing up for an open team last season. Looking for a chill group of guys to play medic for.
Play a lot of pugs and mge/dm/watching demos/casts/etc always looking to improve and can take criticism well. Have like 200 mixes and can maincall if needed, though i prefer not to (solly/demo is usually more effective). Can scrim everyday and play matches before 11est
