I loved my old grado sr80is until I broke them and got 225is. Got them for $99 and sound amazing for most music, they were my first step into the 'audiophile' world (if you even want to call it that without being pretentious as fuck). Not the greatest for gaming when compared to say the ad700s and their insane soundstage, but they definitely had more soundstage than my old sony headphones and earbuds. Compared to my brothers audio technica m50s in tf2 I could differentiate which direction everything was coming from way easier with the grados. Sennheisers or mdr-v6s would definitely not be a bad choice though.
OP what types of music do you listen to and do you plan on using them from anywhere other than your computer (like through your ipod on the bus or something)? Do you care about noise isolation or leaking noise to people around you? There can't be one pair of headphones that is perfect for everyone since there's so much personal preference involved.
For strictly gaming though I'd say look at the ad700s and other open backed phones (head-fi is a good resource for reviews and explanations and stuff)

edit: go on an actual audio related website and see if anyone thinks your shitty gaming headsets are good? It's basically the same as 'beats by dre' for people listening to rap music. Just because they are targeted to gaming doesn't mean they're actually good for it, it's just marketing bullshit. Also asking this question on a competitive gaming forum is probably not the best idea.

Maybe you had a bind that called on some other cfg or something like that, or something that only works with sv_cheats 1 or something? I think there's some ways for it to only work in demos and not in game (like quit but not have it quit the game when you hit the key, only in the demo)
edit: yeah just taking a guess, I'll try messing with it and/or trying it without lawena maybe. Could be a broken demo though

I've been streaming pretty regularly for the last couple of days and will be for the next 2 weeks figured I'd do it here. Play cevo and ugc 6s as well as highlander if that matters. Not sure if I have many vods, used to go by another twitch account which I used to a few months of streaming.

I'll paste my current obs settings to see if that helps. I have foobar and mumble running both of which work fine, but for some reason the tf2 audio isn't picked up

The only sound that comes out is sound from youtube videos, mumble, foobar/whatever music player, but not tf2. Anyone know hwo to fix this?

Was fun to pug on, aside from the last being way too hard to defend. Mid allowed soldiers to bomb really easily from double jumping off the right wall (like metalworks) but was pretty fun as long as your scouts shot them. Right side/elbow on mid needs a reworking imo since it's almost impossible to push without getting spammed to shit by their demo. my .02

+1 for gigayte z87 motherboards, just don't forget to update bios so you don't blue screen every half hour like I did.

How many times can you tell people "I CAN CHANGE THAT WAS MY PAST" and keep doing the exact same thing?

I have mx blues and they feel amazing. No chance they'll somehow make you better at tf2 but they're really fun to type on. I imagine the reds could be a small improvement because of the increased responsiveness, but it's nothing to write home about lol

Can you view any servers in the server browser, or if you try to look at a friend's game info through steam? If you can't do either of those (no server's showing up, just shows the IP of friend on steam instead of score and name of server etc.) then you're probably not sending/receiving UDP packets. The other thing I can think of is that the ports for tf2 (27015 usually) aren't open for your router.
Have you tried restarting your router?
