Air_hey tiptoes just cut me i'd love to tryout
there are so many things wrong with this statement i can't even begin to fathom how this is real life
>tiptoes leading a "good im team" and not being mutinied for being bad and retarded
>easily the best player on the team being cut
>wanting to voluntarily play on a team with VIPERSTRIKER2011
>good player pledge
>made by elliott
????
hint: North America has 3 time zones and the majority of players have other obligations such as school or work; 9est is generally when people start scrimming (6pm for west coasters, people tend to like to eat dinner at around that time so those of us who don't have bed times and or are able to stay up past 11est tend to start at more like 930 or 10; invite games generally start at 11est and can be an hour or longer lol)
maybe if you were playing ow you'd be able to find a scrim at 430pm but that's just not going to happen in tf2 there's not enough teams
ViperRhettroalso on the off chance there are any other competitive skiers out here...i don't think he does it competitively but bear talks about skiing and ski trips he takes, try getting in touch with him
nah that's my (fraternal twin) brother he's super into freeskiing and doing competitions and shit
i just do it casually from time to time, used to do it a lot before i got into tf2 and got busier with school stuff (didn't go once last year was always busy with college apps and shit if i wasn't playing tf2)
eeeb4nny.
i made basically the same point 4 pages ago. people here don't believe the game nor the QF have changed enough to completely shift its impact on the meta
Heavy works far differently than he did in 2013 (spin up). Pushing into a heavy is nowhere near as dangerous as it used to be
Scout as a whole is far stronger, so scout ubers are more popular. this means the QF's uber isn't very good on scouts since they can fairly reliably be one shot or focused down
Players on the whole are far more aggressive and individual classes are less important. Pushing off of a demo pick into an even uber is a lot less of a sure thing
idk
wtf are you talking about the brass beast is a thing so long as they have the proper foresight to spin up in anticipation to a push they can put up more dps than ever
also i would disagree with you completely on the last point if the other team doesn't have a demo it means no sticky traps and far less spam potential which makes it a good opportunity to push and force their uber first (not sure what this point has to do with the conversion in the first place tho)
i didn't play back them in s14 and know hardly anything about the soda popper since ive never played highlander with it but i think we should consider more highly the opinions of those who were actually subjected to these weapons in the past (ie, hl players who realized how dumb it was, rando and others who played back when the qf was unbanned)
ok let's be real kurt definitely deserves to be there not me lol
pendaThe solemn vow unban isn't really that bad. In higher divs people will use the ubersaw because it's better considering they should be able to track uber and listen to comms to know people's hp. However a good nerf to the Solemn Vow would be to make it so you can only see the players info when having the weapon out.
no actually the inverse is true, at a higher level nobody is retarded enough to give a medic an ubersaw (like scouts being baited around corners and shit) but being able to tell people's health and uber has no negative consequences so there's no reason not to run it
OK sorry but im not going to watch through an hour+ long vod of banny or slin rambling on about this shit you can't reasonably expect everyone to 'just watch the VODs and then form an opinion' i formed my opinion on your guys apparent conclusion
What's the matter with discussing it on the forums so that people who weren't there have a say in things? Did you not set out to 'include the entire community'?
Don't get me wrong, as a medic main i think unbanning the quick fix and solemon vow is going to be fun af but the question is will be for the better good of the game? Or do I not get a say in things cause I was busy visiting with family and couldn't make the meeting?
knuckStarkiewhy would you ban unlocks a week before a LAN
why weren't you at the meeting
bearodactylalso why is slin the person in control of it he got cut he doesn't have to suffer through the ensuing aids (god forbid some mongo with a pomson shoots me once as im pushing through a choke point and deletes my uber
he's not in charge of it he's just the only one willing to make a meeting happen
believe it or not some people have lives and or don't want to sit in a mumble with a hundred sweaty retards arguing about which stupid unlock to unban this time
also why is slin the person in control of it he got cut he doesn't have to suffer through the ensuing aids (god forbid some mongo with a pomson shoots me once as im pushing through a choke point and deletes my uber)
Starkiewhy would you ban unlocks a week before a LAN
this and what is the logic behind allowing quick fix and solemon's vow
SnackStupid questions incoming probably, but how do I install this? Will this allow me to make use of spectator the way they look on tftv casts? Also, would it allow me to set a button tied to every player in the stv, or is that not how it actually works?
the only way to get it to look the way it does in tftv casts is to do production and get the proper hud and config and everything (last time i remember it was just a regular comanglia max quality with a few changed settings)
as far as switching players there are commands to switch to a certain class (ie, blue scout 1/2, red sniper, etc) but afaik it's hud dependent (according to the cfg last time i read it)
that said actually i remember copying the config stuff and launching the game with rayshud to do a chill cast and the camera switch binds worked so maybe it isnt hud dependent and im full of shit (or the shit i was basing it off was outdated)
