#2 TF2 Statistics/Metastatistics project SUGGESTIONS! in Projects

Some simpler things I think would be interesting:

  • Who has done the most damage/healing/kills/ etc
  • Who has the highest/lowest winrate (must have played 100 games or so)
  • Who has the most time/games played from logs.tf
  • Who has sent the most text chats from logs.tf
  • Which classes have the most "net damage" per heals received
  • Which classes have the highest/lowest damage done per kill
  • Distribution of match times throughout the day

Slightly more complicated:

  • Heatmap of net damage
  • Heatmap of uber drops (both med and attacker)
  • Compare stats from "official match days" to other days (esp match length)
  • "diversity of players" (how many people just play 6s, hl, bball, etc.? how many people play ultiduo but not bball? do people play each class evenly, or do people play just one or two? etc)
  • You could compare the accuracy per distance to target from cheaters to non-cheaters

I got a lot more ideas, Ill prob msg you via discord to avoid spamming this thread

#108 Proper Performance Guide on TF2. [UNFINISHED] in Customization
AimIsADickAlso I really worded that above quote badly; I should have just said I got the hardware tips sections from other people to begin with.

No offense, but basicly everything youve recommended is straight from someone else. That would be fine, if you weren't trying to pass it off as your own ideas or even really knew what you were talking about...

AimIsADickThe Hardware buying tips section comes from me alone

I wouldnt trust hardware tips from a dude who isnt willing to save enough money to buy something better than i5 laptop with integrated graphics because he thinks college is a scam and any job is a waste of time...

I should have mentioned this a while ago, but I was never actually going to finish this guide. I only posted this unfinished guide, because archiving stuff is important

NUTSTKDonutsWait so does this mean that both AM grand finals teams had hackers?not really surprising, there hasnt been a vac related to lmaobox since jungle inferno. you could buy lmaobox right now and be completely fine as long as you dont cheat 100% obvious. there will for sure be more and more cheaters poppin up

Nuuuu! Mxr said cheating don't work cuz valve patched everything!!!1!!

GrapeJuiceIIIb-b-b-b-but... mxr said there is no aimlock in tf2 that works through walls!!!

I think we all know that claim is bs just on principle, idk why he thinks that would be the case. I read that some sort of "silent aim" was patched a while ago, but that was more of fixing how aim assist snapping was hidden from stv/pov recordings. Granted, I dont have any first hand experience with cheats, so im kinda talking out my ass at this point. Im also pretty sure most cheats have an option to only lock if there is nothing between the two players, so it WOULD be REALLY DUMB to not have that option ticked, which is my only hold up. In theory, it should be easy to not be blatant. That being said, lifting your mouse, bumping your keyboard, pushing a side button on your mouse for push-to-talk etc can cause weird mouse flicks that every once and a while would "track" a player though a wall. (But maybe not like in this case, where it sticks to his head, pixel perfect, for a bit before he pulls is xhair far enough away at the weirdest time to be lifting your mouse or anything)
