What happens if you have more than 0% uber as medic - do you keep your uber or reset to 0%?
What if someone else kills the medic.
What if you pick up the gun after the med spawns and starts healing?

that probably just means you can only get the missions and skin crates for 3 months
the balance changes are permanent.

The actual picking up of weapons could make some situational shit useful but not gamebreaking (e.g. a weapon is good holding on a certain point but you dont want to use it forever). The ammo part is more concerning.

Really? I get around 90-110 ping to Chicago servers, 80 or so to NY, 120-140 to Dallas. I think people in west NA probably get around 90-100 to east coast?

You're never going to get fairer ping for NA players on the west coast, the country they live in is too big. Where do ascent live? I think Dallas servers would probably be most fair from an east-west perspective but Ascent might live way further north than that in which case idk Chicago would be marginally better than NY?
In Europe play on a French server or one of the more dodgy German servers so everyone European has shit routing.

If your analogy was "people spike drinks to rape people so lets restrict the ease of access to drugs that are commonly used in these cases" then yeah that's a fairer analogy and sounds like a much more reasonable idea compared to cutting off people's penises. It's significantly less detrimental to a person to not own a firearm than not own a dick. There are pretty legitimate reasons to use both and restrictions don't necessarily mean an outright ban.

I'm pretty sure macs have a really weird way of dealing with mouse input where they some odd neg accel by default so it's probably a lot harder to get decent raw input on them than pcs.

I really dont think class limits are a hamfisted solution there's literally no need to have more than 2 of any class on a 24 player server and having 5 engies/12 demos on a team is literally the easiest way to kill gameplay.

There was some sort of fix that I had to do for this when I was in the steam beta involving registry editing but I've forgotten it now. I think you can edit some settings in the steam registry either to opt in or out of the beta or to start in offline mode. One of those fixed it. Sorry that's not specific but maybe someone can work out the specifics

I was actually in probably the only ever 6v6 pyro dodgeball tourney, the ppl and server I played on 5 yrs ago were really fun to play with. Nobody actually took it seriously tho.
Fun fact: Permzilla started out as the admin of a pyro dodgeball server.
