I'm going to write a long post for this one because there are some games with really good soundtracks I like.
I think the best soundtrack from a perspective of listening to it all the way through is the Donkey Kong Country 2 OST. I think it's the only videogame soundtrack I know that's so consistently good. Every track is a banger, I don't think there are any mediocre ones.
Earthbound has a soundtrack that I love because it fits the theme of the game incredibly well (just like everything else). The weird surreal synths and odd jazz tracks go well with the trippy backgrounds and alien invasion themes, but then there's also the themes for areas that really capture the sense of them, upbeat heartwarming themes for the small towns etc. One of my favourites in that game is the desert theme 'Super dry dance' where the radio tuning sounds capture the weird spacey atmosphere of the game. At the same time, the song sounds exactly like driving a truck through the desert with bad reception would.
Other notable examples of soundtracks that I like a lot
Cave story has been mentioned a few times in this thread but its worth mentioning again because it's amazing what the game does with such simple melodies. This track is a good example.
mousiope makes a good point. We're focusing far too much on ruleset and unlocks at the moment when we could be focusing on the important questions. Questions such as, what can we do as a community to be more welcoming to new players? What is the future of NA TF2 once ESEA dies? How can we deal with cheaters in pubs? Is b4nny circumcised? These are the questions that plague us today as a community, not arguing about whitelists.
The range thing is something that the loch n load does better than stock pipes as well. There's some maps/points where I think the loch n load can be better for spamming the choke because it's a tight corridor and you can do it from further back (e.g. gully river, badlands train). There's kind of a tradeoff between range and ease of damage on all the grenade launchers where iron bomber and loch n load hit the sweet spots imo.
Atoms and molecules can have the wrong amount of charge. To prevent this they move charge between each other so they can have the right amount. U have now learned all of chemistry (thank me later).
mustardoverlordI have my own opinions about which team is most deserving of the spot but it feels weird having it be entirely my decision
Make them play each other for it
There is no combination of class limits, ruleset, gamemode or competitive platform that will make TF2 a successful competitive game without valve putting money into it, and even then the game may just be too old to be marketable. I don't see the game ever growing unless valve makes a 3rd team fortress game. Every attempt at creating a competitive gamemode (including/especially valve's own) has been a colossal failure from the perspective of retaining a large playerbase.
The game also has severe fundamental flaws that prevent it from being enjoyed by a large amount of the playerbase. Some of these flaws are compounded in the 6v6 gamemode we currently play, but many of them exist in all versions of TF2 and aren't fixable without major balance changes to the entire game.
Sorry guys this is my fault. I cancelled my premium subscription that I realized I was still paying for just before this was announced. My bad.
translucentfecesOnce on the Toronto yellow line at around 8pm someone boarded wearing a large coat, a fisherman's hat, and a porcelain painted mask. The mask was white with little flowers on it (and was a little weathered). Could not see their eyes in the mask, just dark holes. They had a straggly, straw-like beard poking out from openings in, around, and under the mask. This person also kept "looking" around - essentially just slowly turning their head different ways. I imagine there was some delight taken in freaking passengers out. Two girls sitting near me exchanged a "fuck this" look and exited the car.
A good portion of the strange things I've seen have been on the Toronto subway, come to think of it. Anyway, this is kinda what the mask looked like:

Considering this was Toronto it might have been Tonetta.
I'm interested in the specifics of the model you're using, but I don't see it anywhere on your site. Is there any more information you can give on the model you're using to predict match results?
^ That could work too, It would just bother me because the table wouldn't be properly aligned.
Are they letting you import packages for this? I'd use pandas to make the table if so.
In your function, I'd define an empty list for the times in seconds and an empty list for the times in minutes. For each time in your list, multiply it by 60 to get the number of seconds and apply your formula to get the meters. Use string formatting to add the 'sec' and 'meters' to each of these and append it to your empty list.
If you use pandas you can construct the table (using pd.DataFrame( ) ) as a dictionary where the keys are the column headings ('Time' and 'Distance Fallen') and the values are the lists you just made. You can then just make the function return your table.
There's these weird consistencies to the stories of MGE players who've been involved in near death experiences (car accidents etc). While comatose these people have had unusually similar visions. All of them involve the experience of standing on a flat grey plane that extends as far as the eye can see. The one having the vision isn't able to travel where they want, they're restricted by a high metal fence that extends around them in a circle. Try as they might, they can't get over or around the fence.
Then something strange happens. A man appears on the other side of the circle. He doesn't appear any different to them, but somehow everyone who has had this vision is terrified by him. Above his head are a bunch of Cyrillic characters and the number '2900'. The significance of these two things is not yet known. Shortly after this man appears, the dreamer awakes from their comatose state, often in great distress.
