I would like to add to the voices that are concerned about a 9pm EST match time. One of the main reasons I won't consistently play in ESEA is that 6:30 is already too early for me to arrive to scrims on time.

Deleting program files/steam/appcache has worked in the past for me, I've found that one to be the most consistent fix.

This is a good roster. Any chaos team I made would need to include iatgink and sideshow on it. They can be actually trying to play properly but both of those players have always had some kind of aura where every game they're in stops making any sense whatsoever.

I'm going to write a long post for this one because there are some games with really good soundtracks I like.

I think the best soundtrack from a perspective of listening to it all the way through is the Donkey Kong Country 2 OST. I think it's the only videogame soundtrack I know that's so consistently good. Every track is a banger, I don't think there are any mediocre ones.

Earthbound has a soundtrack that I love because it fits the theme of the game incredibly well (just like everything else). The weird surreal synths and odd jazz tracks go well with the trippy backgrounds and alien invasion themes, but then there's also the themes for areas that really capture the sense of them, upbeat heartwarming themes for the small towns etc. One of my favourites in that game is the desert theme 'Super dry dance' where the radio tuning sounds capture the weird spacey atmosphere of the game. At the same time, the song sounds exactly like driving a truck through the desert with bad reception would.

Other notable examples of soundtracks that I like a lot

Bomberman hero.

Cave story has been mentioned a few times in this thread but its worth mentioning again because it's amazing what the game does with such simple melodies. This track is a good example.

mousiope makes a good point. We're focusing far too much on ruleset and unlocks at the moment when we could be focusing on the important questions. Questions such as, what can we do as a community to be more welcoming to new players? What is the future of NA TF2 once ESEA dies? How can we deal with cheaters in pubs? Is b4nny circumcised? These are the questions that plague us today as a community, not arguing about whitelists.

The range thing is something that the loch n load does better than stock pipes as well. There's some maps/points where I think the loch n load can be better for spamming the choke because it's a tight corridor and you can do it from further back (e.g. gully river, badlands train). There's kind of a tradeoff between range and ease of damage on all the grenade launchers where iron bomber and loch n load hit the sweet spots imo.
