Trying to exit TF2 often results in a computer freeze since the pyro update (like 80% of the time)
I can still use mumble/discord voice chat. I can move my mouse but cannot click anything. Alt-tabbing puts me on desktop but I cannot click anything still. Also it keeps the 640x480 resolution I play with on the desktop. ctrl+alt+del allows me to open Task Manager but once it gets to desktop I can't click anything still.
Only solution is holding down the power button. Apparently it's common on low end PCs
Can be avoided by: being in offline server and using Quit in console (not always reliable) or using task manager to force the TF2 process to end

Trying to join Casual servers results in "Connection failed after 4 retries" errors. Happens every 1/2 games. Only happens with Casual servers. Have not tested it with MvM or In-game matchmaking (monthly reminder that that mode exists). Server browser etc are fine.
From what I looked up there seems to be issues with ports but no fix I looked up so far has worked (and others have also reported recently that no known fix has worked)

Though not entirely gameplay related the console no longer works on the main menu.
In a server it only starts working if you have it bound to a key (bind x toggleconsole) and are not currently on the menu screen when you press it. Shortly after exiting the menu the console will break and you'll have to press the key again.

I rely on console for a lot of things and some things I can't even do anymore. For example I cannot record with Lawena/AVI recorder at 1080p anymore because for that I'd need to force 1080p resolution with statusspec plug-in. But I can't do this in-game because it causes a crash when switching resolutions and I can't do it on the main menu (where I wouldn't crash) because that doesn't have a working console anymore

-console in launch options shows the console shortly before it is buried beneath the main menu before you can interact with it. So it's possible the new main menu elements are to blame

Interest in competitive TF2:
eXtv/SalTV/vanillaTV. First channels that showed up when I searched Competitive TF2 on Youtube at the time. That was about 4 years ago

Starting to play "competitive" TF2:
TF2center after watching streamers play it. I moved away from centers eventually and instead starting to somewhat lead a mix group. The mix group still plays on rare occasions

Being on a team:
ETF2L S28 is my first season. I started in Mid. I got lucky enough to encounter my current teammates in a faceit lobby (edit: Should also mention I played like 5 faceit lobbies. So I got very lucky). They liked me and the same night asked me to merc for a scrim. The next season I started playing with them.
No real reason why I was never on a team before. Never bothered to look for a team because I wanted to play with people I know and like. Luckily I get that chance now :)

I'm assuming it'll be streamed under IRL streams so even if the TF2 community is respectful the IRL community might not be. So definitely turn it off

Though I didn't know him that well he helped me out a bit when I was trying to get into AC.
He's one of the names I've heard over and over in the community over the years for all that he had achieved. Long before I even talked to him I knew who he was.
