Let's break this down

The point is that some people enjoy content like this. Same reason why some people like cringe compilations. I'm personally not a fan of those types of compilations or this thread but that doesn't mean others can't enjoy it (on the condition that it doesn't affect the people posted in this thread)

They might have impacted their lives, yes. I've found a lot of profiles like these from playing with people like these in pubs. Some even harassing me when they get upset when they get killed too much by me. That's what usually drives me to look at their profiles afterwards.

They are being left alone. Their profiles might be getting posted in this thread but from what I've seen people are well behaved. They don't witch hunt the people posted. If they did then the mods would've locked this thread long ago.
There's no reddit bandwagon, there's no 4chan raid. Plenty of disapproval though. Probably only a handful of these people will ever find out their profiles were shared.
(If I'm wrong about this feel free to point it out though. I didn't read most of this thread but the TFTV hivemind usually doesn't go out of their way to harass random pubbers)

That quote can also be applied to you right now. Ofcourse that doesn't mean you don't have the right to judge them for what they do. Just sort of out of place considering you're doing the same thing so it doesn't really help to make your point.

What you're doing right now is exactly what they're doing: They see something they don't like, they find a way to share these feelings with others.
They share the profiles, you share your opinions about the thread. So I guess if you're looking for the entire point of this thread then look no further because it's the same reason you post in it

Used to play CoD. Watched some MW2 video like 6 years ago. Some guy had the alias bot1 on xbox and pretended to be a recruit bot. I found it funny.
Quit console about a year later when I got a laptop. Made my alias bot1 as a tribute to that video.
Started improving on sniper a couple of months in, people thought my alias implied I had aimbot.
It got really annoying (some people like getting called a cheater, I'm not one of them)
