Are we just posting the highlights as comments? I'm alright with that because then less people visit their website
tl;dr dude played scout, heavy and pyro for a couple hours and decided heavy was best and pyro most fun.
"TF2's character designs haven't held up either. Playable characters look monotonous compared with those standards set by more recent games. Overwatch's heroes, for example, are distinct, vivid, and visually compelling."
Couldn't pick classes. The class pref system took a while and when it arrived it didn't do anything at first. Probably discouraged a lot of players
Couldn't get subs. Deal breaker, though I understand why faceit didn't want such a feature with a ladder system and money involved.
Everything else was fine tbh. I enjoyed it for the first week or so, but once the playerbase started dropping you'd often be playing with/against the same players. And it just so happened that I really did not enjoy playing with some of those players. I was already mixing daily with the Dutch circlejerk and I'd occasionally get picked on pugchamp (which generally had more keen and surprisingly more enjoyable people playing). So I stopped queueing faceit
Big variety streamer, streamed TF2 in the past. Doesn't stick around long but apparently he likes it enough to return to it every now and then.
Also he knows about fov_desired 90 which is already better than most popular streamers that give TF2 a shot
Already on the sidebar but I changed my twitch alias back to my old one so it needs to be updated
Name: Tob
Country: Belgium
New Twitch URL: twitch.tv/snipermain
Previous twitch url was twitch.tv/tob_kobe
Not sure if that's relevant or needed
Thanks!
I always feel like I'm learning/improving something
LAN with friends
Powah's current sens
sens 1.4 + DPI 1800
14.2 cm/360 (if I calced correctly based on other senses in the spreadsheet. from what I remember this is around the same sens he had back when he was playing ESEA)
edit: what cough said underneath seems more accurate. I remember him using something around 16cm so he's right
Also an unimportant error but you mistyped something in Fun Facts. AMS and sil have the same sens. You wrote Domo instead
TamirStalinPowerams 56cm Pepega
he's 3 800 if i'm not wrong
i actually dont know where i got the 56 from so i changed it
another victim of AMS' !sens command
Or use VTF crosshairs from cfg.tf (or make your own pack) and everything is alligned automatically
- Your HUD might not support the file
- Your HUD might support the file, but move the entire element off screen (It is possible to put a HUD crosshair in the file and because it has a toggle command you can then toggle a HUD crosshair through commands. Useful for things like crosshair switch scripts. It's an ancient HUD trick from before VTF crosshairs became the norm)
- You don't have the command to make the tracker show up set to 1
edit: hud_achievement_tracker 1 in case anyone ever comes across this thread with the same question. Didn't want to bump the thread so I PM'd it to sp00ky
edit2: the command was the issue
