Midfights are pretty easy to do. Just reset the round after every mid cap w console commands. Very good way of scrimming, but I've never seen anyone attempt it

He uploaded a 2nd video later clarifying some stuff concerning TF2, LAN volunteering and the community as a whole still being somewhat positive (he still plays TF2 at times though production just drained him of any desire to be involved in comp again). My guess is he came to regret even bringing up the subject w some backlash and removed both videos. He's probably talked about it on stream in detail if you feel like going through his clips page from the past month or so

I booked non-refundably a couple months before corona was a thing so cu@ still.

I didn't walk around the city the past 2 years so if the LAN is canceled I'm just going on a citytrip w my friends. Genuinely upset LAN hugs won't be a thing this year though you can catch me crying about it at the mermaid statue and the zoo B)

Kaptain probably used Lawena which reset it to TF2's default 200 200 200. I tried sampling it and it gave similar values

Looks like crosshair7 to me but no real way to find out other than asking kaptain if he remembers. Lawena settings would also have made the crosshair scale 32 but I suggest using trial and error for finding what looks similar

if they're like really really blurry you're probably just missing a flag. No MipMap, No Level of Detail, No Minimum MipMap and 8bit Alpha are required. Point Sample is optional (not selecting it is like some sort of antialiasing)

i've not used VTFedit in years. I use the paint.net vtf plug-in instead which saves them directly as VTFs

Recently found a pub server with people I enjoy playing with. Hadn't enjoyed pubs for the past 3 years, but now I can hop on that server and have a fun time. My classes go to 9:30pm 4 days per week so I can't commit to main rosters for the foreseeable future. So had I not discovered this server a couple weeks ago I probably would've quit playing TF2 for the most part.

Some of them play MvM at times and asked if I wanted to join. So I bought some tickets and jumped into mumble with them. First time I did any sort of buying/trading in TF2 in probably 2 years and no regrets. It's quite nice still making new friends after 5k+ hours

I think it's more of an issue with certain people not being comfortable with altering the game compared to Valve's current version. Same reason some people oppose a promod. Just gotta convince them and it'll happen.

It's also not easy to get a league convinced because they'd want all the other leagues to start using it at the same time. Either it's unanimous globally or it's not happening basically
