I'm trying to change my Twitch username to just TimTum. Would it be possible to change my nickname on teamfortress.tv to TimTum as well?

I know this isn't really about damage, but I feel like this wasn't possible with the old airblast: https://plays.tv/video/5a0c6119eabd848e6f/new-airblast-airblast
I probably could've surfed it better to stay alive, but I didn't expect it at all.
I don't think the metal will be a problem to be honest. If I understand the item drop system you only have to play 10 hours each week to get like 8-10 items each week. So 4-5 weeks of just playing TF2 will probably give you enough items to craft 2 refined.
I've seen streamers just delete items they got because their inventory is full, but to actually use these items in a prizepool is a pretty cool idea. It takes time to craft the refined metal, but at least the items are going to be used for something useful.
nopetbh it's better this way, don't need to treat a spy like a sniper in terms of sightlines and positioning etc
I agree, in high level play it's basically a second sniper, look at the logs of the ETF2L grand finals last season: http://logs.tf/1831456
Blu's spy got the most headshots, and both spies got less than 30 backstabs in 123 minutes. I feel like Valve just wants spies to be 'spies' again instead of a second sniper. What I mean is that the ability to read your opponents and strike at the right time (gamesense) is completely gone with the old ambassador. And again it takes skill to be really good with the ambassador, but that's not the point of the spy class (according to Valve).
I'm sorry if this has been asked already, but is it impossible to finish a contract when you switched to another contract? I've completed one contract, but I haven't done all the bonuses. So I switched to another contract, finished that one and now I wanted to do the bonuses of the other contract. I can only turn the contract in. Is there a way to still finish the bonuses?
