CoYoTeedit: but seriously if you do like reckoner please explain why because ive not heard a single reason for why people like it other than "it looks nice"
You can't just give one reason to like a map. There are several aspects of the map which makes a map a good map or a bad map (in other words do you like to play (the flow of) on the map). In my eyes you can't just say I like the map because I like the midfight, what about the other points of the map?
- Mid point: I prefer this mid point/fight over maps like snakewater. On snakewater you have different ways to approach mid, but you can't really take one side of the map. On gullywash for example you can take your side of the map but you can also take their side. Reckoner mid you have the option between three different areas to take. I have to say that I don't like the double crates on top of each other, but I do like it that the point is on top of the bridge now.
- Second point: For the most part this area is fine imo. You can hold close to cargo and you can hold passive around little door/rollout/lobby. As the attacking team you have many options to force an uber or do a push (even after the newest addition of the dropdown in cargo). The biggest thing I dislike is the forklift.
- Last point/lobby: It's open, many different places to hold, enough options to go for a force. It's not anything special but imo it isn't bad at all.
I'm not saying this map is amazing, but it's definitely not worse than some of the current maps.
