They don't have "all the nukes" and building more Nuclear Weapons at this point is meaningless on a strategic level. I believe building more Nuclear Weapons is more careless than anything else because just creating the weapon means it can fall into the wrong hands. Nobody wins in a nuclear war and tactical nuclear strikes are completely out of the question for major powers. You cannot win a Nuclear war on a first strike basis because:

Both sides have the ultimate deterrent that would guarantee mutual destruction. We have our 14+ Ohio class submarines lurking in the water with 24 Trident Missiles and the Russians have Typhoon and Borei class subs with comparable armament. That much silent and hidden nuclear power is more than enough to destroy the whole planet.

The Baez bunt in the 4th inning was pure perfection. Bunting with such skill is really a lost art in the game these days as every swings for the fences.

#1 -- United Gamers Community vs LialAndThe1989WorldTour

In my opinion, this one match will have the most impact on the Bubble teams and the final seeding for most teams. I think this match could be very close and might be worth casting.

LialAndThe1989WorldTour are going to make playoffs already. They are also missing a match and will likely get a FFW or a low open team to makeup the 16th match. They should still want a victory because it will improve their overall seeding. UGC on the other hand has not qualified yet and could need this win. Even if UGC losses this match and ends up 10-6, they need to secure some Rounds to help any playoff tie-breakers.

#2 -- Yung Americans vs fov_desired_420

420 is already in the playoffs and don't need to win this match but they have a chance to play spoilers for thier opponents. Yung Americans have no choice but to come out and win this match to have any chance of making the playoffs. If Yung Americans lose, it will open up a lot of possibilities for other bubble teams so there will be quite a few teams rooting against us in this match. A victory for Yung Americans will leave them in a favorable position because because they will have the most Rounds Won.

#3 -- yumpman vs Bring back the funk

Bring back the funk have a chance to qualify for playoffs by simply winning this match and going 11-5 for the season. yumpman is already in the playoffs and should make that task difficult at best. I believe yumpman is the stronger team but more than 1 upset has happened on Snakewater in the past.

Even if Bring back the funk losses, they will still be in a solid position to make the playoffs but would help that if they can take as many rounds as possible in this matchup.

With the final week of matches approaching, I wanted to highlight the Open Bubble Teams fighting for playoff spots and the important matches I believe will influence who makes playoffs and who watches

I anticipate a logjam of teams with 10-6 records. It will be interesting to see how the admins deal with complicated tie-breaker situations if they appear this season. I made my comments based off the ESEA tie-breaker rules

This team is highly dependent on outside help to make the playoffs at this point. They should go 1-1 in the final 2 matches of the season with a loss to BLANC Lite and a win over trukAraptor.

The Tie-Breaker situation for Yiffy Gamers is not great. They have a H2H loss to Drama Alert Nation which could factor in greatly if they both become tied at 10-6. Yiffy Gamers should get at least 5 rounds from trukAraptor because they seem to still be alive but any rounds they can scrape from BLANC Lite will increase their chances of possibly getting the 16th spot.

This is my current team and it has been fun getting to know these guys over the past few weeks. We have shown improvement but I would be lying if I said our last match on viaduct was one we should have lost. It was a disappointing result that would have helped our playoff chances greatly. That said, we still hold our own fate at this point. 2 hard matches await us on Snakewater week against weeb noises and fov_desired_420 with the latter being a Match of the Week highlighted below.

Yung Americans are the only Bubble Team that does not have a H2H matchup for tie-breaking purposes. Rounds won could be a huge factor if we can win 1 match this week because we should end up with more rounds than the other bubble teams.

Playoff Chances -- Poor
Predicted Final Record -- 10-6 (48-50 Rounds Won)

Unfortunately Drama Alert Nation gets hit with the most difficult final week schedule of all Bubble Teams. They play Squad Fam Esports and weeb noises, 2 of the top teams in the division. 1 victory would qualify this team but I just don't see it happening against these top teams and they may struggle to even get any rounds at all.

The tie-breaker situation is mildly favorable because of a H2H win over Yiffy Gamers but if they need to rely on Rounds Won for any tie-break situation, they have a very poor chance for playoffs. The best chance for playoffs is to depend on a few upset wins from other teams.

BotDog is another team dependent on outside help in order to make playoffs. Their final 2 matches against THROYO ECH and YAM FAM will likely be solid victories with the added bonus of neither team being dead so they should also get 10 rounds. This team really needs some major upsets to happen in other matches this final week.

The Tie-Breaker situation is bleak at best for BotDog. H2H losses to UGC and Bring back the funk mostly assure this team will not make the playoffs unless some major results in other matches turn into upset wins. Rounds won should have almost no factor for this team.

UGC finds themselves solidly in the playoff hunt because they won a very "interesting" match last night against ISSA KNIFE. As a result they now hold their playoff fate in their own hands. If they are able to pull off 2 victories, they will automatically qualify but that may be easier said than done. A free win over KritzKast is forthcoming but the match against LialAndThe1989WorldTour will be much more challenging. This is another Match of the Week highlighted below.

The Tie-Breaker situation is complicated for UGC. They have a H2H win over BotDog, which should push that team out of their way, but they have a H2H loss to Bring back the funk. Rounds Won could likely be a huge factor in a 10-6 logjam for the final playoff spots which makes the match against LialAndThe1989WorldTour extremely important.

Bring back the funk has quietly backed into the playoff hunt on the strength of 3 FFW's and a massive win over BotDog last night. The match this week against Id Rather Choke You Out should result in a solid victory but I am more interested in the other match. yumpman is already in the playoffs but should still have a reason to play hard to get a better playoff seed. This is a vital result for Bring back the funk and is another Match of the Week highlighted below.

The tie-breaker situation is favorable for Bring back the funk because of H2H wins over BotDog and UGC. If they become tied with either team at 10-6 they would move past them based off those results and not have to rely on Rounds Won. Even if they do need to use Rounds Won, they will likely have enough but they still need to win at least 1 match this week in any scenario.

Did the 5/5 thing 10 times. Lowest was 181, Highest was 211. All the rest were in the middle somewhere. It was fun.

I got my wife to do this several times and it was enjoyable to watch her improve with every attempt. The first ones were well into the 300's but by the end she was getting under 250 consistently

Nothing to be ashamed of saying you started playing in UGC. Keep your motivation and your drive to improve and get better. I would suggest finding different 6's players who share you desire to scrim and stay active, then join ESEA for next season. We need more players like you in the community.

I used to stock up on Fortune Cookies, Soy Sauce and Duck Sauce and add them to the handful of candy but I was never able to enjoy the reaction because they take the bags home before opening them so I ditched that idea.

I may or may not get to enjoy my favorite Halloween activity this year because of cold weather.

As I fill children's bags with assorted candy, I look and target the ones carrying brown paper bags. I then mix in my pre-made tinfoil wrapped ice-cubes with the handful of candy. The ice cubes melt and the weight of the collected candy eventually busts the bottom of the bag spilling the candy on the street as they walk down the block. The best ones are when crying starts.

It might be too cold this year for the cubes to melt but we are going to try anyways!
