Exactly what happens to me. If I join an arena, I can still be killed but I will not see or hear it until my game comes to life after a few mins.

I have 5 or 6 different MGE servers on my list and it happens to each one.

So I have had this problem for a while and its now at the point where I get annoyed and want to fix it.

When I initially join any MGE server, there is a period of time where I cannot do anything at all. I cannot join an arena or spectate other ppl currently playing. I basically sit there doing nothing and wait for a few minutes to pass. After that, the game comes to life and I can !add and do things normally. Has anyone experienced this on MGE servers before and is there a fix?

This error does not happen at any other time joining a TF2 server. Casual, Competitive, DM, Scrims, etc are all working perfectly once I join. It is strictly on MGE servers.

This is also very true. A lot of people play MGE to win and use idiotic tactics as a result. Thankfully, on a full server you can easily !remove and then !add to another arena to avoid the idiots.

It can be decent practice to grind MGE but be aware that playing against the same person can also be counter productive. It is not hard to learn another player's tendencies and begin to anticipate movements and actions. This can have an effect on your own aim so when you play different players, you are all fucked up because they play differently.

IMO, if you want to grind MGE, do it on a full server and play against as many different opponents as possible. You can round out your play against different styles and improve faster.

I still had fun even with that lobby being short and no sub available.

I can only really enjoy plain cheese pizza. Even pepperoni makes pizza crap but I turn around and destroy a stromboli even though they are almost exactly the same thing. I have issues, can't explain it.

I don't view myself as a Trump Supporter but I will give this a try even thought there is likely an avalanche of negativity heading my way because of it. Lets see how many ppl I can offend with my 5 reasons for Trump over Hillary

----- Trump is Pro-Gun. Both Clinton's have never been friendly regarding guns.

----- National Security & Immigration Control which I view as one in the same. Clinton has said in the debates and speeches the same bullshit Obama has been saying for 8 years about immigration control and he has done nothing at all to fix the problem. I personally don't want to risk another 4-8 years under the same strategy. Who knows if Trump will get anything done on this front but I am more willing to take a chance on his actions than I am on Clinton.

----- Trump is not a career politician. Many of us are sick of the status quo in Washington. Trump could potentially breathe life into our failing political system for the future.

----- He is an accomplished business leader far outstripping Clinton. With the national debt looming over us all, he is easily the better choice for new ideas on this front. Foreign business deals will be on notice if he gets elected and making your business competitors nervous is not a bad thing.

----- Foreign Affairs Wild-Card. He may actually do the things he has pledged in his speeches which may mean an end to some foreign powers taking advantage of us on the world stage. Speech after speech means nothing unless action is taken afterwards, which is what you will 100% get with Clinton being elected.

It's ok, Phil has a lot of things in his past that could have went another direction anyways :)
