It seems like every Top 10 Video, someone makes a TFTV thread complaining about the ranking of frags and every time Luke and eXtine explain that part of the process behind their ranking is appealing to the larger audience of pubbers and using frags that are universally entertaining, if not always demonstrating the highest possible skill level. They're trying to reach two very different communities with this series, so their ranking choices will always make someone unhappy.

I understand and agree that the series misrepresents competitive play on some level, but do you really think complaining on TFTV that x or y play should have been ranked higher/lower will change anything when the creators have every reason to continue using their current ranking criteria?

as far as SFX I think Cyanic means having prerecorded SFX for weapon impacts (rockets/pipes/stickies exploding, sniper headshots, etc.) so you can pick and choose what you want the audience to hear. That is a buttload of extra work though, I don't blame you if you can't be fucked doing all that.

Don't worry about the caliber of your play too much, as long as the frags are at least moderately interesting (they are) I'll always watch a frag movie with this level of visual and editing quality.

Short answer: I'll be moving to a full palm grip with my new setup.

Long answer: My old setup had a 1" tall wrist pad on a narrow mousepad (6.5") so I had a weird hybrid of palm and fingertip where I'd mix wrist and arm movement to aim, but I'll be moving to a full size mouse pad and most likely a full palm grip as a result with the new setup.

Looking for recommendations to replace my Deathadder, give me your suggestions - I would also appreciate reasoning on why you like/dislike a particular mouse :)

Things I want in my new mouse:
-2 thumb buttons (more is ok, as long as 2 are easily reachable, as I like to use a thumb button for Push-To-Talk)
-I am right handed so must be either a righty or ambidextrous mouse
-Comfortable for my hand size (I am 7.75"/20cm from base of palm to tip of middle finger), this is ofc very subjective
