nobelharvardsApologies about necroing a thread, but I am interested to find out what aspects/elements/properties of a hat make it hard to headshot?

Is it height? Is it width?

It is harder to headshot someone when their head hitbox is not obvious when you see them with the hat on. That's the issue for the pumpkin head and the monoculus eye.

Some people also just instinctively aim for the highest thing. This makes the towering pillar annoying for some.

(You might also have a bit of trouble getting on a team since the season started this monday/wednesday, but that's another issue.)

KAMOMy first FPS was Quake II, I installed this yesterday and am having a blast. A question for the more experienced/knowledgeable: I feel like weapon switching can be horribly slow, i.e. I have the Railgun out, fire a shot and hit the key I have bound to RL. It's literally taking 1-2 seconds before my RL comes up and this timing seems varied (usually getting me fragged before I can fire another weapon). Some weapons seem to switch faster than others. Can someone explain if this is part of the game or am I missing a setting or is my computer just being a potato?

For some elaboration, you can't switch weapons during a weapon's reload time.

VortexPQL movement along with "classic" pre-change QL are all premium/pro exclusive content, I'm pretty sure.

If you have a friend who has pro he can invite you to the game.

Public duel servers are under classic, but not PQL. The only changes that happened to them in the 8/27 update were the LG damage change and the addition of damage numbers.

One tip for any future movie making: in listenserver.cfg, add tf_weapon_criticals 0. You'll notice that most jump movies have random crits disabled, and unless there's a reason to have it on, it looks nicer without.
