Mechanics are also a part of playing medic. Make sure you practice dodging, aiming, surfing, and more obvious stuff like flashing players correctly.

People may laugh at me, but dm & mge can make an improvement in these aspects. When you play against a soldier or a demo you often need to surf the explosions in mge, almost the same way you do as a med. When you play scout v scout the movement is really important, and this actually translates to medic because of the healing speed buff. Let's say a scout runs in from the flank and goes straight for you. If you're healing a friendly scout you can dodge the same way you would if it was a scout 1v1 (which I think is a good way to dodge. These things can be practiced in both mge and dm, and it's important to not get too focused on getting the frags, but rather making sure you're playing in a way that forces you to practice your weaknesses. (by that I mean, the weaknesses that have the largest effect in actual games)

But don't get too bogged down on mechanics. Gamesense (ie positioning, counting ubers, who to heal, etc) is probably way more important.

Never heard of this artist before.

Short review/thoughts/first impression:

Beat and production is acceptable, but there are definately both simpler and more advanced productions that do it better. It felt kind of empty to me, and the soundscape not interesting or smooth enough for me to enjoy.

As for the song itself, I didn't find it catchy, and from my first impressions the lyrical content isn't very impressive, but tries to go for something simple and sweet. It has its ups and downs essentially. All in all, considering the demographic this song probably is aimed at, it accomplishes its goal I guess.

The Lil Yachty Verse didn't strike me as very interesting, good, or catchy. I think his pitch correction / autotune (& distortion?) or whatever was overdone. I'm not a fan of it in the first place, but I think it can definately add to songs. Two examples of this in my opinion is "Fake Love" by Drake and "No Problem" by Chance The Rapper. For all my criticism of the lyrical content this verse takes the hardest hit, with barely anything to add.

To sum it up, decent production, decent rhymes, bad feature.

I can see why people would enjoy it but it's just not my cup of tea.

People don't spam chokes as much as you imply, and even when the servers are filled with tryhards most ppl don't play like total assfucks spamminig chokes.

Also people don't flee if there's no elo/point scoring, I already covered this. And 1v4's are actually really rare. And most of the times where it happens, you need to LOOK WHERE UR TEAMMATES ARE and attack at the same time they attack, and you'll break the "hold" eventually, due to enemies spawning on their side.

What's more cancerous is in a 1v4 situation with random spawns because then you can't sync up with your teammates.

georgebaiiI like how you're trying to make points about realistic situations when you're literally saying surprise flanks from behind are less realistic than having to pasta brain 1v4's with next to no buff which is so retarded.

Aiming at enemies in front of u is always more realistic than behind u.

georgebaiiI agree but suddenly regenerating six shots for your Scattergun isn't realistic.

Firstly, only the player who gets the finish gets the ammo. Secondly, a scout reloading between kills (though faster than usual) is still more realistic than an enemy spawning behind your back.

georgebaiiYeah let me go around to pretty much the same area where there's gonna be 4 retards all holding train like its their life (especially in fixed spawns) and most likely get killed instantly. And even then someone will rotate from train and try to catch me out when i'm in house/valley.

Ok so you think it's more fun and rewarding to get shot in the back than hitting an insane shot killing someone in a 1v4. Ok.

It doesn't happen often because you're a scout main; the class benefitting most from spawning behind someone, and also the class who can run away from fights most effectively OR walk away from the spawnpoints the fastest. (on maps like granary, gullywash)

Oh it's also not realistic to take 1v4's against players that will flee after you do 60 damage to them and let their team deal with you because you can literally only 1v4, unless you're pasta god in game, expecting all their players are full-health.
Collaideyou get punished for being in a bad position but you can't really expect someone to spawn behind you or the person you just killed to spawn in front of u with full health and ammo.Okay, so this is why you prefer to get punished for having a worse team and thus you can't get through choke points without getting fucked. I think that's the point, when you know people spawn randomly around the map, you look around you constantly, and not just at the opponent's choke, leading to your team just spamming their choke so if they wanted to actually get to fight without taking 3 rockets in their faces, they'd have to run like all the way from choke to big door in gully or some retarded shit.

EDIT: You can also hear them spawn behind you, and it anyways happens pretty rarely, and you can still win the fight, it's instant spawn, you get to spawn elsewhere and frag again anyways, while with fixed spawns you spawn you get fucked in spawn or if you're lucky you get to take 1v4 in your choke.

Thing still stands, in actual games you don't need to look around you 100% of the time, mostly you just need to look in front of your team. It becomes a chore; a useless practice when you instead could make your way over towards the enemy team, hitting well timed and aimed shots rather than 180 degree flicks.

Getting health from a kill is more realistic though. It simulates buffs in a way, though rather coarsely. (Is that correct use of the word coarsely?)

Also, nobody is forcing you to run through chokepoints into the rockets. Just wait for him to shoot his rockets and then run through, or take an alternative route. (eg. on badlands, go house and then window/balcony)

FireAnd now we realize that people will always try to gain more and more elo, and that all of your points pro fixed spawns depend on having everyone on the server playing 'nice', which is not gonna happen in 90% of the games.
In random spawns, maybe 1/10 times a spawn kills you, but you can play fine the rest of the time. In fixed spawns you can't do anything yourself if the enemy team is stronger and camping chokes.
So from a realistic perspective random spawns will give you a much better time.

Your point is irrelevant because kuferl dm has no ranking system. Try again.

PuoskariWhile you're at it switch the fixed spawns to random spawns, I can guarantee you that nobody wants to play fixed spawns, it's pure aids. There's nothing good you get out of fixed spawns unless you enjoy having 1v4's in chokes constantly.

People in general prefer fixed. tf2pickup fixed spawns server was always more populated than the random spawns one.

It's also not realistic aiming/positioning having to predict people spawning behind u. you get punished for being in a bad position but you can't really expect someone to spawn behind you or the person you just killed to spawn in front of u with full health and ammo.
