BubbaBenroadsbut is there a way I could put the scoreboard in the current 6v6 brosel way. And with the images in #11. so it is darker. I know you guys dont want to, but is there a way I could?crespiBenroadsBubbais there a way you could make the brosel hud 6v6(where it is vertical, so it takes up less space) into the font/image you used? where it is darker and such
it was originally like that but I really really dislike scoreboards like that so I doubt i'll fix it anytime soon
+1
When I first started using broselhud, I thought the vertical scoreboard was the neatest thing ever. But once during a scrim I forgot to switch to minmode and kept forgetting to switch it. So when I used the basic 12v12 horizontal version, I noticed that it was much easier to actually see who was up and who was down. Haven't gone back since.
yeah I plan to set the scoreboard to be 12v12 regardless of minmode and use that for crosshairs since I always forget to set minmode on when I do play 6s
if you download the hud in the first post the scoreboard is like that except broken. I can't remember what element i changed to fix it up but all you'd need to do iirc is change the mainbg color and the font colors for all the stats

crespiSo it appears that this hud uses a completely different clientscheme setup, and doesn't use the surface fonts at all. I could have done something wrong, but I'm pretty sure there's no easy way to simply make the #15 scoreboard work with broeselhud 2.7.
I moved the gotham fonts to the right folder, added the font schemes under the "fonts" section of clientscheme.res. Then I added the font directories at the bottom of clientscheme.res, and ordered them appropriately.
The results were almost correct. Basically, the part in the picture below had no background, and all the numbers were green, and not the color of the team.

Maybe I should try inserting the gotham schemes AFTER the surface ones, in the fonts section of clientscheme.res?
edit: I fixed it. There was a set of custom fg colors that the scoreboard.res file used, and I needed to add that to my clientscheme.res
Would you mind uploading your hud stuff, I was planning on putting this scoreboard in my broesel as well and it would save me quite a bit of time messing with fonts and such. Thanks in advance.
This hud is based off milkyhud with the health/ammo/timer elements added in. Hence the white colorscheme. I'm sure you could get the scoreboard to work if you copied all the font declarations and such from shinyhuds clientscheme and hudlayout it would work. However it would be quite the pain to set up. Since I use broesel 2.5 I might work on making it work for that and I assume that it would also work on 2.7
crespiThat scoreboard (not the white one) looks just like the current broesel scoreboard, but with better contrast and fonts. I want it now please!
I believe the font he used is gotham so if you wanted to use this scoreboard you'd need to install the fonts and such.
I modified the stock broesel 6s scoreboard aswell if you're interested in that

If you do use this and find any bugs please please post them, most of them take me only like 5 seconds to fix. Also any suggestions are welcome.

Changed up the main scoreboard a bit, thought it looked a bit nicer and matched up better with the main portion of the hud. Will probably work on changing the main menu and the minmode scoreboard.
link?
I could upload what i've edited so far, but it's quite far from being finished. I also plan to make the main menu be dark (perhaps YA_hud menu?) I also need to install the newer crosshairs (konrwings, batman) and fix up minmode a bit. I've added broesel to talk to him about some stuff but he hasn't added me. I also will probably expand the scoreboard a bit so it works better in 12v12 and then will make a resized version for 6v6

Thought it was fairly self explanatory, but you'd find a base custom hud that you want to use for certain things (Crosshair) and then just delete the rest. if I have time tomorrow i'll try to set it up for you.
If I make that box transparant you can still see the circle crosshair under it
What I am trying to do is have the box be transparnt but somehow still coverup the crosshair circle element. I've seen it done before but i'm not sure how i'd go about doing it.
Hngjust use minmode 1 and minmode 0 to have two crosshairs. you need to set it up though.
on another note, are you sharing your crosshair + wings?
minmode doesnt work cause I use minmode to change scoreboards. If you want these crosshairs they're all in broselhud but if you want my specific settings I could upload them for you. Also i'd still have the same problem I have now with not being able to cover up the original hud crosshair.
This is what i've got right now. What I want to do is have that white square be transparant but still cover up elements that are under it.
I think I figured out how I could make this acheivement crosshair thing work but i'm missing one part that I cannot figure out how to do.
What I plan to do is have the small green cross have a high z value so that it will be infront of basically everything on the hud, then have the circle be a much much lower value. Now when achievement tracker is turned on i'd have the konrwings be at the same level as the green cross but i'd need to make a panel that would cover up the circle crosshair but still be transparant. I've seen this done on other huds but i'm not sure how i'd go about doing it.
I really like broeselhud but if you plan on editing stuff yourself i'd urge you to pick a different hud, lots of stuff with broeselhud are formatted in a very annoying way that makes editing a pain in the ass
