Havn't actually played the game but the chronotrigger soundtrack was pretty good.
I have a very old version of ya_hud downloaded, not sure if it uses the same font or colorscheme but I could upload the scoreboard files and if he hasn't changed that stuff it should work fine.
sherman_gluckgot some friends using the hud, for some reason they say the hud background for health and ammo is purple, any idea why? also is there a way to change the ammo and health color?

No problem, hope your crosshair stuff works out well.
Hm didn't know they changed that. You can use gcfscape to extract the default hud files but I havn't needed to so I don't know where you'd do that.
Well iirc if any hud file is missing an element it automatically puts in the default. So you could just install the font in clientscheme and then put the crosshairs alone in hudlayout.res by itself and everything should stay default.
Currently redoing the motd and map info panels for my hud / shiny hud and for some reason stuff like this keeps happening.
I have no idea why but on certain maps (koth_badlands for example) the text just clips out and breaks. Also I cannot figure out why the buttons are still in caps when the labeltext is "Continue/Back" instead of "CONTINUE/BACK"
LyreteOne thing more that I've just noticed, and I assume it's the custom main screen is that alerts don't show up there. which is annoying because now I don't have all items. :(
I've been looking into this, I actually copied the main menu stuff over from my customized broesel and notifications work fine on that but not on this one. I'll look into it later while i'm updating the main menu to include some extra buttons and general fixes.
iirc this was one of the vtf crosshairs. Not exactly sure how much you could modify with it.
so if I took the stock rocket explosion and renamed it like quake_rl_explosion or whatever it is it should work?

really would like the spec gui to be a touch colorful
I'm not exactly sure how to center the respawn timer on your resolution without it being broken on all other ones. It's fairly easy to center it though you're going to want to go to resource/ui and find spectator.res then once you're in that file you need to find "ReinforcementsLabel" and then just mess with the x values untill it's centered.
Regarding colors on the specgui, i'll see how hard it would be to add a little team colored stripe under each players name or a vertical stripe along the edge. Still not 100% sure what I want to do with the spec gui.
