#2 LFP you've probably tried out for me and hated it in Recruitment (looking for players)

TheRealWeiner[Isn't real] is real. He's very nice, very cool to hang out with, and their team enviornment was amazing when I was ringing. I never had issues with them being double booked, because Mr. Not real always tries to get together something and when it fails he's always sincere.
Never once did I doubt him.

#82 lower those rgl fees tho in TF2 General Discussion
MenachemPretty misleading, if not straight up false? The people behind NACL had announced their intentions to make a league happen weeks earlier, pretty soon after it came out that ESEA was dying, but understandably took some time to organize everything enough to make an official announcement.

Most people were not signed up yet. People like to wait to sign up until the very last second even with established leagues, but RGL had made a big announcement how it had secured some invite teams playing (and I seem to recall a post about one of those teams not being aware it had signed up?). And more than that, RGL had intentionally scheduled its first season to start almost immediately after the end of the ESEA season, in some kind of "pick us now or forever hold your peace" kind of play. And I also seem to recall some last second delays anyway once it became clear people weren't signing up on time? But by that point, the decision had already been made.

The timing was all totally arbitrary. Pretty sure that in the end we picked RGL because they offered more prize money. Because apparently we all suffer from some awkward TF2 form of "temporarily embarrassed millionaire" syndrome.

i guess we wait until someone is so fed up with rgl that they just spawn a new league.

#6 LFP - RGL Main - (Scout or Soldier) in Recruitment (looking for players)
mr_popoI feel it would be more appropriate if RGL was free this season with no prize pool. Although a $20 USD ($28 CAD) entry fee doesn't seem expensive, it is a big ask for those in financial hardship. I'm an old timer with bills to pay and mouths to feed.

If there is an entry fee this season I will find a way to cover it (for the love of the game).

GeneralNickUnicorn_WizardIf your player gets banned don't pay up a sub. Like others have said all it does is give the league money. If you really want to be heard, do it with your wallet and with your not playing in the league. If you don't agree with someone, don't let them hold you and your enjoyment of the game in their hands.
great idea, UGC revival perhaps? :)

I've had some issues with UGC in the past, but nothing that triumphs this.

AlexandrosOk so none of this actually makes sense. RGL is banning lolguy for saying this in a scrim, and yet:

Unban him, and while your at it, unban that poor guy who rang for HL grand finals and got banned because he happened to be the unlucky guy available to ring for a team who had decided to throw. What was he supposed to do? Disconnect when he realized they were going to throw? You probably would have banned him for "poor sportsmanship" or something equally absurd for that, so he was damned if he did, and damned if he didn't. RGL needs to make its process very clear, and get some competency while doing so.

They reduced his ban to 4 months! Talk about it if you'd like.

If RGL isn't giving me servers to play on, then dont police what I say! I dont fucking care if you say if I'm using your plugin/config (free to use- btw!) I'm "held to a standard"- that's not how it works. Im playing privately on MY SERVER- my rules dude. You can police the matches but when it's time to scrim lay off the hammer.

It doesn't look good either that they've been stalking player logs for excuses to ban, I bet sigafoo will post trying to defend himself.
