Valve[MISC]
– Fixed the ‘radar spotting enemies through smoke’ mechanic to behave the same regardless of the game server tickrate, and to not reveal enemies on the opposite side of the smoke until the smoke effect dissipates.
– Increased size of rendering queues for OSX and Linux game clients to address crashes when playing Danger Zone.

Rumor has it:

- All the rest of the update consists of is last-minute preparations for the start of IEM Katowice 2019 as well as more localization file updates made possible in part by contributions from Translators Like You - Thank You

- Size is close to 10 MB

The fixed the radar/smoke bug that allowed you to see the location of people on radar even if there was a smoke obscuring the LoS to them. Some of the Astralis players have been using it and were partial to it being legal because "its in the game."

Smokes sometimes bug and show enemies through smokes, even while the smoke effect is still seen by the player. Some Astralis players used that to get kills through smokes. They used a toggle bind to zoom in on the radar to make lining up kills through said smoke easier as well.

gla1ve is pretty well known for getting a fuck ton of kills through smoke and using a bind that lets him zoom in on the radar so that when the radar shows the red dot of an enemy as soon as a smoke starts to fade he knows exactly where they are and can easily get the kill

edit: i was too slow by 23 seconds
