Mastercomfig help! mat_analias

So I downloaded comanglia's config then it keeps on dropping frames so I went to mastercomfig so I downloaded the preset then it crashes so I went on the mastercomfig trobleshooting page then I found a fix here.

TF2 exits on startup
This is due a bug from a recent update that causes mat_antialias to crash the game when run on startup. Remove mat_antialias from your custom.cfg if you have it, remove -dxlevel from your launch options and remove any line with mat_antialias in your tf/cfg/config.cfg file.

But when I exit tf2 then relaunch it then it crashes again then I see my config.cfg mat_antialias is there again then I need to keep on doing it before I play tf2 and now it's very annoying.

sounds like your config.cfg is on read-only mode

try putting this in your launch options: +mat_antialias x +alias mat_antialias ""
if that doesn't work just try this: +alias mat_antialias ""

x is whatever value you want it to be

-edit-

Jeez I need to read your post entirely before I start replying.

A few questions

1. Which version of my config are you using?

2. Which version of mastercomfig did you install?

3. Did the mastercomfig you installed come as a .VPK file?

This maybe helpful just to get your game back to a state where you can play (without a config though) https://github.com/mastercoms/mastercomfig#clean-up

Try to add mat_antialias 0 to your custom.cfg?

Although mastercoms proved that 1 is the minimum value for the command, but 0 works better on my PC

0 gets rounded up to 1.

HorseI'll try

Try opening regedit, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Source\tf\Settings, then remove mat_antialias.
